Did you use the Additional Theme(s) ?

The Addition Theme(s) where used!

Give a quick overview of your game, and how you worked the theme into it.
You Shouldn't be here:
- I thought stumbling into a cave that says some suspicious things is the way to go
- I also have a second part where you will have to break a part of the game to proceed forward

Bananas:
- The game name says it all hahahaha :D

Fast Paced:
- I put all the power-ups and collectibles to be collected as soon as possible before diving to the hard part

Really good game, with great gameplay, level design and graphism !

Very good game ! It reminds me of my childhood...

Wonderful game! I actually quit the first time I played it and only got 99 bananas when the jam released, but I'm glad I came back today. I looked a bit deeper and found where you were supposed to go, and the game play shifted. I have not played it, but seems like it was akin to Celeste? Well done :)

All I can say is put your name in the credits next time!

Attaching camera to player as an unlockable ability is really interesting twist! I wonder if some hardcore player could complete the game without unlocking it! That would be epic. The game is engaging and the difficulty ramp up a little too quick after stumbling upon the first red tile. It feels like you've put more emphasis on "banana" rather than "you shouldn't be here". I had fun!

Nice game. I like how the theme is worked in and it is pretty difficult

Very cool parkour! Good job! Also great implementation of the theme! Although parkour was difficult to complete and did not work out right away, there was still no anger from failures due to the fact that the gameplay was nicely done!

I love the small Metroidvania style! Also the background music is really peaceful, and I love the banana sprites!

Developer(+1)

Compared to your background music, mine is pretty far behind ๐Ÿ˜†

I appreciate you though for playing this little game of mine ๐Ÿ˜

Very nice use of the theme, enjoyed the breaking down of reality.

First play through I thought something was bugged and stop before the double jump because I was missing way too many bananas. After restarting I felt it was wrong to have to back track to the dash upgrade so I used a trick I found to wall jump up a little and grab that upgrade first.

Found the UI only accounted for having the double jump first so it said double jump instead of dash.

Pretty fun with a touch of difficulty near the end, with more levels and polished movement and visuals I can see my self playing this game through.

Developer

Oh shoot, I might not have accounted for that little trick and it kinda works ๐Ÿ˜…
I was fixated on getting the double jump first on my playtests that I totally forgot to check the dash first hahahaha

Thank you for playing this little game of mine :D

Nice!!!

LIterally outside the box eh... Maybe a little more of a hint within the game rather than on the gamepage would help more people discover this "secret" I did manage to get stuck on a block in world 2 though that ended my run right quick. Still very cool Super Mario Brothers style secret!

Developer

Hahahhaha yeah, I was out of time to add some cutscenes in the start  of the game for a more clarity story.

Although I am curious on what part of the game where you stuck on
(Oh I see where it was, is it the room after the double jump?)

Submitted(+1)

It was on the 2nd stage all the way in the room to the far left where you have to I assume double jump up. I got stuck on the single blocks on the right side of that room

Developer

Is this the room? I'm just curious if this is the hole that you might got stuck up or maybe there's another one I might have missed

I wasn't sure if I could make the jump from the left to the right so I started climbing up to the right and got stuck up in there. I just beat the game though! Really clever mix of the level all being the same level but only revealed once you get the camera! Fantastic job!

Developer

That's a good find, I wouldn't have known that gaps like that can stuck the player ๐Ÿ˜…

Anyways, I really appreciate you for beating the game and also for the feedback๐Ÿ˜
I will try yours later when I am not busy ๐Ÿ˜Š

What I at first thought was going to be a very boring mini-metroidvania suddenly turned into a outside-the-box thinking and quite enjoyable precision platformer. The art is phenomenal, and the character controls are very responsive. Well done.

5/5/5 ratings from me.

Developer(+1)

I really like metroidvanias ๐Ÿ˜†

Thank you very much for playing the game ๐Ÿ˜

Very cool game. Great art and mechanics and you really do have to think outside the box to reach the trippy second world :)

Thank you for playing ๐Ÿ˜
