Your art style is very good, I love how you shaded everything! The black hole idea is cool too, overall this is some pretty fine work!

Developer

Thanks a lot!!

I tried to review this and the other reviews and screens look so great, but unfortunately Wine is having a feud with my iMac and I can't get it to run.

Developer

Sorry to hear that, do any error messages show up when you try to run the game?

the zip file has only a windows executable in it, so I can't run it on my Mac, and wine isn't working to run it. It's my old ass iMac is the issue not the game

Honestly this feels really polished overall, cohesive artstyle and and the fx is pretty satisfying. The game seems a bit close to cookie clicker maybe but I mean it's a good formula after all. Great submission.

Developer

Thank you! Yea the Cookie Clicker inspiration might've been too strong with this game, but I'm glad you liked it!

SFX/Music
The SFX are pretty satisfying, and they motivate you to click faster and get to know more clicker-elements/more different SFX. I don't recall you having a soundtrack for the background, but that would be unnecessary for a clicker game.

Graphics
Your Graphics look amazing. Everything fits together, UI, Buttons, Background, etc. Even the Thumbnail looks amazing, and that's what I think makes your game stand out from most of the other submissions!

Intuitiveness
That's where I had some problems. Unlike Cookie Clicker, you don't say anything about a clicker-element when you hover over them. Made me unsure of what some buttons do. Could have some improvements

Idea
I think this was one of the Downsides. You pretty much copy and pasted the Cookie Clicker layout, mechanics, and everything else. Don't misunderstand me, it still is really fun and everything, but you could have at least changed up the layout, the buttons on the top right for example, or added some new features.

Conclusion [9.5/10 Stars]
All in all, it's a pretty cool game, I had fun playing it, and it was quite satisfying, even tho it was short. I especially liked the little animation at the end, made you look forward to it, and it didn't disappoint. You could probably publish the game as "Cookie Clicker 2", but better and in pixel art :)

Wow, thank you a lot! I was very inspired by Cookie Clicker and didn't mean to basically make a 1:1 copy of it, but I just got carried away and pretty much did that before I noticed. I plan on updating the game a tad bit to add things like item descriptions and unique mechanics. Thanks for the feedback, I greatly appreciate it!

Very cookie clicker inspired (in a good way!).  From one pixel artist to another, I tip my hat to you sir!  Great job.  :)

Developer

Thank you very much! Hah yeah, the Cookie Clicker inspiration was really strong on this one. I'm happy you liked the game!

Really like the graphics, the pixel art looks really good.

The visual effect in the gameplay are nice, I like the layout and how the upgrade will appear to help remove the black hole, and the random buffs are cool too.

I don't really understand the upgrades on the top right tho, it could be better if there are some description too it.

The sound are nice too. Overall, nice game!

Developer(+1)

Thank you! Sorry for not explaining the upgrades, I was running out of time and I had to fix some other bugs so I couldn't add descriptions. Thanks for playing and I'm glad you enjoyed it!

Your game has a very nice presentation and the sound is very satisfying. The visual feedback of seeing the bought elements around the black whole is also very cool. The only feature I would add is the ability to see the production per second of each element individually. And a description for the upgrades too. I really like optimizing my gameplay hehe.

Developer(+1)

Thank you! I unfortunately ran out of time and wasn't able to implement that feature before the submissions ended. Thank you for the feedback and for the nice words though!
