Cool low polygon art style and the game conveys the important point of trying to keep wind turbines at sea active and maintained using such a simple game mechanic – very interesting and fun, I got to 438MW. The informational messaging was also very helpful. It’s a super polished game also.

Further improvements

  • Would love for this have some sound – ocean noises, wind turbines spinning, danger of one too close to the end to induce panic 😊
  • Would be cool to see the electricity generated going to the mainland to power homes and help reinforce that connection

Really enjoyable elegant game well done

Thank you for the kind words!

I completely agree with the sound aspect as having moments of calm with an ocean sound would have worked well with a contrasting panicked sound when everything starts to go wrong.

That's a a good idea for the electricity powering homes, I wish I had thought of that earlier haha.  I could have experimented with some cool VFX as well!

Fun game to play. Loved the style and the tutorial section was great, it made it simple to get the hang of the game but I definitely panicked when there were lots of turbines. I also like that there's information in the load screen about wind turbines and how after a turbine explodes that it tells how much power provided can provide power to so many things.

Great job on the game!

Ah thank you! I'm glad to hear you enjoyed playing it, the information at the end for what you powered is still my the most favourite that I added haha.

Wow! Super well polished rounded out game, nice Hypercausual drop in style and simple to pick up and play, when the board changed to a 4x4 my brain shut down and went oh no!

Super well polished and super fun!

Developer

Thanks you, I tried by best to add some polish this time round since in game jams I usually run out of time!

Yeah it does get a bit much at 4x4 haha, it was actually meant to be infinite, but time and scope always come creeping in.

What a fun game, I enjoyed playing it.

It's nice, easy to play and easy to learn. After playing a few times it annoys me a lot how much I need to click, but then again, that's the whole point of the game. :D

The graphics are awesome, especially the water.

Good job! :)

Developer

Thank you very much and yeah I get that, near the end of development I was sick of clicking too haha.

Amazing game!
I feel like you balanced pretty well with how the player starts with only one turbine and then it gets harder with dozens of them! :)
I like that you have the quick info's and it feels like a nice arcade game!
It is a simple game but you managed to make it fun, I will give you that! :)

Developer

Ah thank you! I tried to lean it towards making it more of an arcade experience with the highscore and time limit so I'm glad to hear it fits into the arcade genre.
