Impressive game especially for a solo project. Love the horror atmosphere and I think it would be really cool to see the fish monsters emerge from the water

Great job on the game!

Cool concept! Give me a wave spawning killer fish game any day! Also have to rep for a fellow solo dev that the amount of code behind the scenes in this must of been mad!

I did find player speed a lil slow though and was just shift sprinting everywhere!

The angry fish are pretty terrifying and hope we don’t create them in the real life! It was fun to shoot them and the environment looks nice and impressive especially given the time to create this! I can definitely see a fun game in this and I had fun playing it. Some improvements I think could be made could be:

  • The walking speed of the character is a bit slow, I had to hold Shift to speed up the character. I think it would be better to make the run speed the default walk speed and then it would feel a bit like Quake or Doom which would fit the game well.
  • I could only play one wave? After the first wave no other waves come which is a shame, maybe this is just a problem for me?
  • The intro speech was nice touch but it was perhaps a bit too distorted to really understand it – I had to listen to it about 4 times to understand but once I did it was a fun addition and helped sell the story
  • The placement of buildings and environment could be repositioned to improve the connection to the lake. It would be awesome to watch the fish to come out of the lake itself rather than just round the beach area. You could also tie this in with lake looking really polluted to hit home on the affects of climate change and what caused this scenario to happen

Good game well done :)

There is a lot of content for a very short game jam so great jam in getting so much in! I'm a fan of the visuals and lighting. Very fitting for halloween too! The fish themselves add to this since they are pretty terrifying.

The narration at the start is a great touch too and adds nicely to the world!

The terrain is really well done and felt natural.

I found the white cube easter egg near the sea ;).

Overall, this game has a solid foundation with a fun gameplay loop and to be done in 72 hours is impressive. Well done!

It is a very unique idea of being attacked by mutated fish! :)

I am not too sure if it's just in my computer but it seems the game is not running properly? The only way I could finish was by going to sea :) It is still pretty impressive with the whole map you achieved in such a quick time :)

I apologise on the bugs on the game i had only a day to work on it, and had alot of bugs to rush though in the final hours of the game. But thank You for the feedback and playing the game! :D

Hey there's nothing to apologise for, all the games have some bugs, and it is still impressive with what you got in such a small time frame! <3

For a solo developer, it was really good.  But I didn't know what was going on when I got into the game for the first time.  But still, great game!
