Thank you for the kind words!

I completely agree with the sound aspect as having moments of calm with an ocean sound would have worked well with a contrasting panicked sound when everything starts to go wrong.

That's a a good idea for the electricity powering homes, I wish I had thought of that earlier haha.  I could have experimented with some cool VFX as well!

Haha I've got to thank ONS for that!

Ah thank you!

Ah thank you! I'm glad to hear you enjoyed playing it, the information at the end for what you powered is still my the most favourite that I added haha.

Thanks you, I tried by best to add some polish this time round since in game jams I usually run out of time!

Yeah it does get a bit much at 4x4 haha, it was actually meant to be infinite, but time and scope always come creeping in.

Ah thank you, happy to hear you enjoyed it!

Thank you very much and yeah I get that, near the end of development I was sick of clicking too haha.

Oh I didn't think about that, that's quite a good way of looking at it

Haha, of course, of course

The atmosphere is incredibly well done and I love the vignette mechanic. It feels very poetic which I think compliments the writing well. The audio is also a great touch to this to which creates an almost theraputic experience.

There is a lot of content which is impressive to see in such a short game jam, I think I counted 5/6 levels? The scene transition between these levels are also seamless which does justice to the peaceful nature of the game.

Very well polished and made game, well done!

There is a lot of content for a very short game jam so great jam in getting so much in! I'm a fan of the visuals and lighting. Very fitting for halloween too! The fish themselves add to this since they are pretty terrifying.

The narration at the start is a great touch too and adds nicely to the world!

The terrain is really well done and felt natural.

I found the white cube easter egg near the sea ;).

Overall, this game has a solid foundation with a fun gameplay loop and to be done in 72 hours is impressive. Well done!

I'm an absolute fan of the visuals which I think work really well in sending the message about rubbish piling up! It's not only a great message, but also a good UX choice.

The variety of rubbish in the game is impressive and adds a whole level of depth to the game too! Though I did sometimes find myself forgetting the control scheme so an in-game UI to remind me would go a long way.

There is a lot of depth and content for a game produced in 72 hours, great job!

First and foremost the UI is absolutely phonemal, everything from the bubles on the front screen to the pages of the book. I am jealous of how clean it is! All of the art in the game compliments one another and creates this nice peacful atmosphere which when paired with the music is really relaxing - amazing job on the music too; spotify sound track when?

There has been a lot of care and polish put into this game such as the different speeds of the sealife adding a challenge, the help screen fitting the world, pages flipping, marine encylopedia, etc. Great job!

The game itself is satisfying to play and kept me wanting to play more to upgrade and get the drone swarm which was well worth the wait. Who knows, maybe this is the key to the rubbish in the ocean!

It is commendable that you were able to produce a high quality and well polished game in 72 hours with a team of 11! I know from experience that communication can get real tough, so well done for pulling it off.

A solid team and a solid game. Good job!

I'm a sucker for Otters so already this had a strong start!

The movement feels incredibly fluid and satisfying which is really impressive for a game jam so good job!

The art is also really well done and works well to create a nice calm atmosphere.

The can crushing sound has no right being that satisfying.

Overall, this game is fun and has a great atmosphere, you should be proud!

I'm a massive fan of the personification of Gusty! We have a lot of Wind Turbines down here in Cornwall and from now on they're all called Gusty to me.

The atmosphere is also really well done going from day to night and the sound compliments this well. Also the animations for Gusty are great!

My only improvement would be to make the controls a bit more responsive, but overall this is a great submission. Good job!

This is such a great gameplay take on the rubbish in the sea and I actually enjoyed collecting it for a while! Perhaps you've pioneered the solution to the world's rubbish problem?

I think if the amount collected was reduced and an enemy/obstacle of some sort was added then then this would be a perfect arcade-like game.

Overall, great execution on an important topic!

I absolutely love the aesthetic of this game and it's great to see it so far completed too! It's a great spin on tetris since it had me running all over the place trying to get the un-chopped trees. I also really liked that the logs actually got cut when I got a Tetris. The model of the Beaver and Fox are also phenomenal and fit the game great!

I had no idea that we used to have beavers in this country too and that we're re-adding them, so I learnt something too!

To produce a game this well as a team of 5 is incredibly impressive in 72 hours, good job!

Ah thank you! I tried to lean it towards making it more of an arcade experience with the highscore and time limit so I'm glad to hear it fits into the arcade genre.

Ah thank you very much!

damn the guy that programmed that is really cool and deserves cookies

Ah thanks, I really appreciate the feedback and thanks for playing it!

Yeah the collect all button is actually such a good idea, I wish I had included it now. I also agree with the building information before placing since it does feel a bit too unfair.

I absolutely love the aesthetic of the game and the general gameplay and reminds me of the very early shooters. The colour choices are also good in providing the tension in the game. and the build up towards losing the game.

I really like the idea for this game and it is well executed especially the different mini-games. The amount of polish is also excellent: especially for a game jam. The end screen is also a nice touch even if I did see it more times than I'm proud of lol. Good job!

I really like the simple aesthetic you went for and along with the music as it creates an incredibly sombre atmosphere! The main menu is also simple, but is really well polished. The only thing I wish was changed is the jumping and adding the ability to strafe while in mid-air.

Thanks! And I agree with and would certainly like to have had something similar with more time.

Thanks!

Okay, thanks. I'll look into it, but unfortunately won't be added in until the jam ends.

Might I ask what level this is occurring on? Also be sure to play on fullscreen for the optimal experience.

What pieces aren't showing? Also was this one a time case, or does it repeatedly occur?

It's to do with the idea of logic gates and binary where there is only one output for two inputs (1 or 0).

Thanks!

You'll need to make it fullscreen in the bottom right. Hope you enjoy it.

Thanks! I mainly went with the lens effect to make the road seem curved rather than just flat which looked rather mundane.

Thank you for the feedback and I do agree that having a scenario where the chain would be a positive aspect rather than just a negative would be a really interesting concept to try.

Thank you!

Thanks, it took quite some time to get the physics of the rope to actually be fun lol

Thanks!

Thanks for the feedback! At first I was going to try and introduce some abilities with the presents like turrets and walls, but I was running out of time, so I had to leave it out.
