Like the style and the concept. A little laggy on my side but I think it's a really nice game.

Good game kind of challenging.

This was pretty good, love the effects. Found a glitch from when your close enough to a wall and shoot you can faze through it.

In the future, I'll probably fix that. I had a mechanic where you could give the ball gravity making it fall to the ground but the theme made me reconsider that. I'll more than likely add it back in after the Jam. Thanks for the feedback also!

While we're asking are rectangles, and pyramids allowed?

Are we allowed to make racing but with hover vehicles, jets, boats, etc? If it has to be cars can we do things like tanks, trackers, or just anything with wheels?

I would like to thank everyone who played Hoard-In during the Cosmic game jam, and everyone outside of the jam. Since the Cosmic jam is over I can now begin updating this game with what I couldn't implement and a few new things I got from feedback. For example, I've decided to remodel the monster a little, so now he looks like a warped creeper.

A few other things I plan to implement in the future

  • Cutscenes replacing sitting and a few other tasks.
  • Working will involve the front door and not the computer.
  • Sleeping will activate dream state levels.
  • More animated eating, washing dishes, etc.
  • When answering the door you will be able to open the door and look through a peephole.
  • More mysterious events will occur than just fleshy accumulation around the apartment.
  • The monster will have a better animation when breaching the door and will have the ability to actually kill you.
  • The end sequence will be reworked.
  • Some reworking with task and user interface.
  • Adding sound.

Again thanks to everyone who gave this game some love.

The meaning is that the character was just in a simulation and that's the real reality. I ran out of time to flesh that part out.

Thank you for playing. After the rating period, I plan on updating the game quite a bit. In the future, I'm thinking of just replacing the chairs and having mini cutscenes. As for the furniture moving, I'll have to see what I want to do with that. I should do something with the bathroom seems like kind of a waste to leave it with no interaction.

I love the art style and think the controls were very smooth. Great job!

Thanks for playing. I ran out of time to really grind out all the issues. There's a ray cast that lets you click on things so I probably left the distance for it too high. The eternal chair I thought I fixed guess I have to test the chairs a little more. Don't worry if you don't have sound I didn't have time to actually implement sound. Also thanks for the feedback.

Thanks for pushing passed the bugs. Appreciate it

This game has a retro feel and I think it has some pretty decent potential if you continue working on it. The only thing I could find fault in it would be no enemy attacking and it ended.

The atmosphere and style really work. There are some places where the mouse sensitivity is high but overall I really liked this one you did a great job.

Simple yet effective. The audio is good, the monster's creepy, and the atmosphere is pretty good.

I like the enemy design and how the game controls. I think you have the groundwork for what can be a fun game. I hope you continue working on it in the future.

I really liked the title screen with the different options shining a spotlight on the performers. I also liked the props and the stage element to it. I think it would have been a little better with some more animation, and maybe different reactions from the audience instead of just laughter

If you get on top of one of the human leaves and use the blower on them you can kind of levitate so that's pretty cool.

This was very good. Mechanics, sound, music, and artwork are all really good.

Thanks for the compliments :). I was originally going to have it so pieces could not be placed in the same spot but ran out of time to figure it out. As for the putting down and picking up, it's a little fidgety I can probably fix that by messing with the input a little, but if you give it a hard click and preferably the mouse over the piece while doing that it'll put down the piece. I may work on the game a little after the rating has concluded so I'll keep your suggestions in mind.

Yeah, I noticed when I tested it there was some lag when picking and putting down the puzzle tiles, yet in the editor, it worked pretty smoothly. Might further improve on this for future projects. Thanks for the compliment. :)

Pretty fun, controls are a bit sensitive but that can be part of the mechanics.

Cool

I was wondering if we are allowed to use past 3d models or code.
