I love the look of the creatures and the language!

Thanks, I really appreciate that!

Cool concept that really makes the player feel they are trying to translate a lost language. It's a shame there is no AI to play against. That made the game so much more confusing to play. I don't even know if I won any of the games I played, so I'm not sure I played the game correctly. Nonetheless the ambiance is great and visuals fit the game really well. This was a nice experience!

There's still a bit more to go before the player can focus on the real game of translation, so thanks for playing (regardless of the confusion!)

I really liked the idea of playing cards with unfathomable creatures! I couldn’t understand the rules and it seemed like I also controlled the other creature’s choices which I think is a bug I hit? Overall I really liked the visuals, the cards were great and the monsters too! Thank you for this experience!

Developer

It's not a bug, unfortunately this is a prototype without any ai to play against, so I kept in the ability to control the entities (very useful in testing... not so much gameplay). Thanks for trying it out!

I see I see, I think it would be interesting to see if this game develops into something more. It is a very basic ability to recognize patterns, and this game, as it seems to me, clearly aims for this experience.

OK first of all the game mechanics of a card game and hidden languages are superb and I love the visuals and music. I think the game play needs to be clearer and even after reading the instructions, I was not really sure how to play. I'd suggest having the first round being auto dealt and maybe having a demo run that plays before the gameplay starts.

Developer

Thanks for checking it out! I'm working on the tutorial now (using the player's "internal monologue" / reactions to the entities), so your suggestion helps to keep that goal focused.

Cool idea. I have zero idea on the symbols and what they represent aside from trying to match.

Thanks for taking a look regardless. You caught on to one of the major ways to make hands, so I count that as a win for you!
