Very fun! Sometimes the audio would continue after you re-spawned which I imagine is not intentional. Lovely visuals,  sound and gameplay though.

Love the violin noices when caught, stress level peak. And the visuals realy brings it together

Developer

Yeah Portland killed it with the audio, thank you so much!

Fun concept and well designed. I teleported into another level for a little bit one time when leaving a puddle. Pretty challenging to survive whenever the monsters got you in their sights, but I appreciated the frequent checkpoints too. Good work.

Developer

Thank you, it was a lot of fun to make and we plan to make some adjustments to make it more fair and squash a could bugs. I appreciate the feedback and the strange teleport is deliberate lol

I love it, the animations really took it to the next level! Music also helped a lot generating tension when chased by monsters.

Developer(+1)

Thank you so much, yeah Portland cooked with the audio. Had me panicking too lol, the creatures animations are not fully implemented yet and currently I do plan to go back and refine those a bit to make it more consistent with where the creature is looking. But yeah, thank you!

This game is really really fun and I feel like does a really really good job of making me terrified whenever those violin screeches come in! The only issue I had was sometimes when I die the music will continue to play after I died already and into the next attempt, but that was easily fixed by refreshing the page! I also really like that you have checkpoints which made the game feel a lot more fair and less upsetting whenever I died!

The art, mechanics and music were all spot on and made the game feel really awesome and tense!

Thank you! I really appreciate the feedback. I'm super glad you had a fun time, and we certainly plan to fix the music thing. Thanks for playing our game :)

Can I ask if you plan to do more with the project? It would be really cool to see you use this in part of an rpg!

Developer (1 edit) (+1)

Ah, there is a version of the future which we do. But I am not really too sure. It would be cool to make something further, but well see where it goes. For me I want to do more game jams before jumping into a large project, I appreciate it a lot 😊

We did it! Woo, good stuff team. Could not have pulled this all together without you both!
