Very interesting idea and there are many possibilities for different occupants and their problems :D

The visuals were great. The audio side felt like the volume is really low and you could add some misterious or goofy ambient but it didn't take away from the atmoshpere - maybe even added to it.

Thanks so much! That's really good feedback I'll include after the game jam is over!

I really liked it! Unfortunately it crashed on me a couple of times, so I'm not super sure I made it to the end. It was really funny and adorable though, and the character art is fantastic. great work!

thank you for playing it!! I plan to fix the things that caused it to crash when the jam is over, would you know what it was that caused it?

I got one hard crash when trying to interact with things in one of the empty rooms, I think the mirror. And a couple of times I stopped being able to interact with anything, once after smashing the tv and another after being prompted to introduce myself to everyone on the ground floor.

I'll be sure to revisit later!!

Loved this game. The visuals were beyond excellent, they gave me that weird 2000s cartoon vibe.  I was excited to check behind every door and learn about each character. I could definitely see this being a full game similar to Spiritfarer with quests for each tenant.  Amazing job.

I agree with you. The game has this psychedelic and acidic atmosphere but with an oddly cute vibe that’s so characteristic of that time :) The reading flows smoothly, and the ideas that need to be implied are well separated from those stated directly. Overall, it reminds me of Kafka, especially in how it dwells on the condemnation of free souls: once the character becomes free to "see" the unseen and feel what’s beyond words, he’s overwhelmed by the confusion of not knowing who he truly is. At a certain point, the real strangeness is in the player, who, by taking on others' responsibilities, loses their own purpose and, in doing so, never really experiences full freedom. The only thing holding him there is the realization that there might be nothing truly worthwhile out there. It’s a fascinating game! Hope its get a full game too.
