It's beautiful! I'm really into it. The sound and art are super original.

Great visuals and I like the story, tho controls are a bit clunky.  But man, visual style...catches right from the get-go! Great job!

Such a great game, love the point and click gameplay, the fixed camera angles make for some really cool shots. Great art-style, so unique! The ritual scene was chilling and really well made!

Great art style.

I love the world and character design you have created. The monastery kids felf really relatable. The contrast difference on the character portraits was quite low so I wasn't always sure who was talking. Great game with pleasent art style. Did they manage to fix the world though?

( THIS POST CONTAINS SOME SPOILERS FOR THE GAME )

Yo. A fellow fixed-camera angled game

First off, loved the camera angles and the overall presentation. The atmosphere in general was great

I liked the story, but the cutscene for the ritual glitched on me so I'm not entirely sure what happened during it

That said, I died laughing when I went into the shack and my character went WTF lol.

I think my only issue is similiar to everyone else in that clicking to move the player was finnicky at times. I think the best way to fix this would be to change the image of the mouse icon if the area that the mouse pointer is hovering over is an area that you can actually move to
( i.e change it to a different colour or a different icon entirely )

All things considered though, cool little point and click. It made me nostalgic for the point and click spongebob games that I used to play a lot as a kid lol

Developer(+1)

The cutscene only really works well on the downloable version, in the web one it kinda implodes. And yes, we kinda ran out of time (mb, first project as designer ups) and didn´t have margin to really polish it. Thanks for playing it and taking the time to comment!! :)

Submitted(+1)

Pardon me, I should've mentioned it but I was actually playing on the downloadable version

Godot video support was supposed to not be perfect, but "worked in my computer": I tested it in a ultra lowspec 12 year old laptop), so maybe has to do with some windows drivers or something like that. Anyway, glad you like it despite the technical stuff, the idea on the cursor is clever.

Really cool looking game with a lot of personality. I love the two little characters. The controls are a bit finicky but other than that great game.

Developer

thanks!!! next time we´ll get it better :)

Very Beautiful game! I love the static angles and the two characters.

Very funny story! I found a few small glitches but nothing that stopped me from enjoying and finishing the game.

From an aesthetic perspective, the characters starting and stopping of movement seems a bit abrupt I would try to add some sort of easing to the movement.

Developer

Thanks, so glad you liked. Sadly, I didn't have time to polish the movement. Also, fun fact: the game runs at 30FPS, probably for no reason now

Really incredible looking game, it all feels very unique. My only complaint is that some of the clicking to guide the characters to some rooms felt a bit finicky. You should be incredibly proud of this!

Developer(+2)

Pre rendered backgrounds are werird to work arround, next time we´ll get them better!! Thanks for your coment, it means a lot :)

Developer(+1)

Thanks!

The art direction in this is superb! What a well-crafted little game! Enjoyed a lot the concept and would love to see more!!

Developer(+1)

Thank you!

Submitted(+2)

I love this. The story is awesome, the visuals are awesome, the sounds are awesome, I had a tiny bit of struggling with the controls, but nothing enough to actually complain about since it could have been a stutter in my computer.

A+ guys. Great job

Developer (1 edit) (+1)

Thank you! Controls may not be very polished, sorry for that, what exactly happened?

Submitted(+1)

When I clicked in a direction I got stuck and couldn't move forward anymore, had to spam click backwards before it registered and I was allowed to move forward again. I thiiiink it was in the section right before the wood shack the first time. Very mild issue i promise. I didn't rate against you for it I promise haha

Developer

hahaha thanks for the feedback. There's basically no pathfinding and collisions are weird because the backgrounds are prerrendered and don't necessarly match the collisions, so movement can be very clunky. I should have polished movement considering how much you use it through the game, but I had no time

Really cool. Love the art style and the character designs. It took me longer than I'd like to admit to figure out that I could move the left hand in the key segments.

Developer(+1)

Thanks! Do you think the fact that there was no cursor during minigames made more difficult to understand that you could move the hand?

(+1)

Hmmm… Maybe? I had thought the left hand started in the keyhole. I assumed that meant I was controlling the right hand and had to click on the 3. I don’t think it was actually that unclear; I think it’s more likely I was just not using my brain.

Developer (1 edit) (+1)

Thanks for sharing. Cursor was supposed to teleport to the left hand's position but somehow didn't work in the scene composition I made. Clicking on the three actually makes a lot of sense, maybe some text explaining what they're going to do might help

Submitted(+2)

This game is gorgeous!! I love the art so so much, the scenes are really cool and just the concept alone is awesome!

I have trouble with the navigation system, I managed to find everything and get to the holding hands part! But I can see how some people would have trouble knowing where to go or if they're supposed to be able to access somewhere that they can't.

Developer(+2)

Thanks! Yeah the navigation is somewhat clunky and we don't properly guide the player, glad you made it to the end!
