From wife:
Game feels finished and nice, with very pleasant graphics.
Good job!
I'm glad she liked it, thanks for checking it out!
The game felt nice, but I was a bit confused on how to collect apples and/or corn, and I cut a few too many apple trees, but the rest was nice. The dialogue was a really simple but I liked it. Really good game with a nice art style!
Really good to know, I appreciate the feedback!
I love the artstyle, the music is pretty chill and overall a really cozy game. Reminds me on Stardew valley
Thanks! And stardew was definitely an inspiration for this
one of the best games in the jam great job bro
Thanks bro! Would love to make game dev my job so I really appreciate it
I have just one question: Why is this an option? 😅
Hahaha I wanted to build in support for switching outfits and this was part of the solution I came up with, I also thought it was fun being able to run around in your undies
I was hoping I would find pumpkin armour.
such a good idea! I would love to add some more clothes, I just have to animate each piece for idle, moving, chopping, and mining in each direction so it takes way longer than I would like, only had time for one outfit in the two week frame
Awesome game! Its amazing what you were able to accomplish within 2 weeks.
Thank you! I definitely appreciate having two weeks instead of just one
Such a sweet little game.
Art is great and the animations are very clean considering the jam-frame! great work
Thank you so much, I really appreciate it :)
I really liked this one, it was short, sweet, and to the point. All the objectives didn't feel like they were that difficult to do and someone could easily jump into this with ease. And the sprite work is pretty good too. I really liked the gradient on the trees it made them stand out a bit. All in all love it! (Also don't think I didn't notice that twilight reference lol.)
Much appreciated! And you're the first person to comment on it hahaha, I'm glad someone picked it up :)
Really enjoyed my playthrough, great art and music, very cozy! Nice work!
Thank you so much!
One of the best games I have played for this jam yet. I really enjoyed it and the polish was excellent. You did some serious work in two weeks. Loved the theme as it was great for an autumn theme. The artwork was great and the cozy factor was very high!
Thank you so much, this really means a lot!
I love it ^^ I think I almost chopped too many apple trees down before realising I had to right click :') is that a fail state? because I think I might have only just had enough left over after I realised haha
The music adds a lot, its a perfect fit for this game. Really well made I enjoyed playing! :)
That is totally a fail state, thank you for pointing that out, and it wouldn't take much code at all to just have the trees drop the apples OnFall. I'm glad you liked the music, this was my first time making it for a game :)
Very cute! And I am really bad at finding things apparently. :)
Thank you! And the map might have been a tad big....whoops!
I thought this game was really cute and definitely cozy. I really like the premise and the way everything looked. There were a lot of games in the jam that had a similar hook(talk to people then collect stuff), but this was one of the only ones I felt where that actually meshed with the idea behind the game. Really awesome stuff!
Thank you so much, I'm glad it came together! Past games I've struggled with scope creep and loose ends so this time it was important that everything be as integrated as possible
Just a really lovely, warm game. I thought it was so clever to have all of the danger and bad stuff happen before the game actually begins so that you get all the benefit of a strong purpose without losing any cosiness. Those cutscenes are awesome (particularly the intro - I could watch a full animated short film of that).
Thank you so much, I'm glad you enjoyed it! I did something similar with an intro cutscene story on my first game jam submitted earlier this year (Finding Fido), and while that game wasn't very fun the cutscenes were my favorite so thought I'd try something similar again. I really appreciate the feedback! (I'll link that other game if you're interested)

I was surprised by the quality put in this! Everything super well made.
I'm going to be honest I restarted the game a few times just to hear the cutscene music again hahah it's so good with the high notes
I thought for sure the art is an asset pack because of the quality. Turns out it's not. Super impressed with it, it's doesn't feel like it was made in 2 weeks
I can really feel the coziness with the atmosphere, the art, the particles and sound effects.
Overall an awesome submission, great job:)
Thank you so much! This was my first time making music for a game so I'm glad you enjoyed, and I'm glad you enjoyed the art, I think that's where I feel most confident as a developer
Played it till completion. It has nice music for the feel of the season and nice game mechanics, similar to mechanics my entry has :).
Enjoyed the playthrough, well done on this.
Thank you, I'm glad you liked the music, this was my first time making any for a game
