Super cute and cozy idea, and it was quite fun being able to clear out an area and design my little busines stardew valley style :)

Chill experience, but executed a bit poorly through the placing mechanic, as you can place more entities on the same tile. It might be an easy fix it might be not, but the rest is good, the main concept is cool, it just being a game where you can craft stuff and place items like in a sandbox. The graphics can be improved a bit, but if you keep working on it you can get far with it, and learn some more stuff along the way. Great job either way! P.S.: Don't think I didn't enjoy it, cause I had a nice experience, but criticism is always good.
Yeah the placement system we designed didn't seem to work that well. We're redoing it, so hopefully it will be a big improvement over what we have. Also no need to worry about being critical :p If there is something you don't enjoy, its always best to voice it; it's the most valuable feedback one can get! Thanks for playing and for the feedback :)
I liked the concept, and I see you're planning on continuing development, so with a bit more variety and smoother controls, I'd love to play an updated version. Btw, the character tends to get stuck when placing fences, I had to then remove them to be able to move.
Nice work!
Thanks for you feedback!
Cute chill game.
Cute game with good mechanics! I think is a very good start for a very good game in the future. Keep going!
Thanks for playing :)
Cute concept with some great core mechanics! I loved the little things you could craft and the bear sleeping animation was excellent. As others have said I think the next step would be adding more visuals (i.e. some visual indicator when the apiary has different levels of honey in it). Great start!
Visual information is on its way!
Omg what a cute game! I could see myself playing for ages if you had a store to buy more things and shape my little zone, maybe different kinds of flowers make different value honey or something. I definitely would love more visual information to tell me the honey is ready to be collected, like some honey dripping from the sides. The environment was really cute and the music worked great. One small bug is that I could place an apiary on the square I was on and be trapped in the apiary until I broke it. Great job!
Thanks for feedback! We plan on updating it with more items and things to do/decorate with, so stay tuned :)
This was a lot of fun! I now know how it feels to be a bee keeping bear!
The only issues I had were that there was not enough visual feedback when the apiaries were ready to "bee" harvested, and the pickup hitboxes seemed a little off. Very cute and fun game, though!
Thanks for your feedback!
cute game, I really like the art style and the atmosphere!
Thanks for playing!
Nawww I loved the sleeping sequence *-* very good job the game is very cute and cozy! i would wish for like an intro to explain how things would work directly in the game while starting playing ^^ this would also work very well with ur bear with a little story introduction ^-^
Haha glad you loved the sleeping sequence, that took me a while to make :)
Nice game! Took me a little while to figure out the controls and how things work, perhaps you could add those details on the game page to help others try it out. I was especially confused about getting the honey because I didn't want to accidentally place things/pick up the apiaries. Eventually I got the hang of it though and cleared out a nice little section of forest for myself :)
I've added the controls to the itch page. Thanks for the suggestion and for playing! :)
Such a fun game! I really enjoyed playing it. I could see playing this game quite a bit if it's going to receive updates. I got a little confused about how to empty the beehives because I wasn't sure if they were going to auto harvest, but I eventually figured it out. I think some written instructions would help with that problem.
My favorite part was the decorating. :) Good job!
Thanks for playing! We do plan to continue to updating it, so stay tuned for more polish and content! A tutorial will definitely be coming as well :)
The game has nice visuals, a relaxing ambiance, and a fun concept.
Picking stuff up is a bit too clunky because the player's speed is too fast. I spent like an hour tearing down the entire forest lmao. Also, I found something which seems to be a bug. You can place two or more items in the same space, but it only works at a certain angle. Overall the game is fun. I really enjoyed it. Good job!!
The entire forest, thats insane! We plan on updated the game and the first thing we'll do is completely revamp our placing/breaking system. Its a little too much spaghetti code and not as polished as we wanted it to be.
Far best game I've played so far, really polished with keybinds, game slots and perfectly cozy game play, I'm astonished of what you managed to accomplish in just two weeks, great game.
Thanks for playing! glad you enjoyed it :)
