It was satisfying to see the parts break down,sometimes the gun would break more than I wanted and destroy my creations, I guess I should learn how to carve pumpkins with a gun. But overall it felt nice
Glad you liked it! Yeah I wish I could have made the radius of destruction smaller but the system I used fought with me quite a lot!
I'm also one of those where the game was lagging, but I actually kind of liked it? It was satisfying to see those pumpkin pieces fall in slow-motion :D
I found it sad that the nice music stopped playing after a while and never made another appearance until I used the escape key to go back to the menu :/
Else it was a fun gam
Fun game, very original idea, and the game looks like it would perform super well if I had a better graphics card. As it is now, there was a lot of lag on my machine and it made it so that I couldn't control the gun very well. I'm sure this is just my machine, so a very nice game overall and you did a super great job!
Thanks for trying it I am glad you liked it! yeah I sadly wasn't able to optimize it enough unfortunately the system I used to make destruction work is very intensive.
I had a similar idea for this jam, really satisfying to carve with a gun though.

CSG Mesh Subtraction, not really meant to be used during runtime since it's a prototyping feature, but it works pretty well!
Eyy nice my way was using unreals chaos destruction system meant to simulate explosions, it was a fight to get it working for carving lol
really difficult to run the game without a graphics card nice movements and carving features.
