I played it on the standalone I see the shader helped a little but when you flip the paper plane on the pitch it makes it hard to see where the front or back paper plane is so I look at the particle trail to see where I’m going.
Suggestion: would it control better if you used mouse instead of keyboard.
I’ve thought of this before, but my best idea is to establish a database, akin to IndieDB, but with strict curation and only external links.
I’m with you on the database solution but did you think of AI that can hack into it and delete everything on it or better yet manipulate the algorithm?
Then the question is in the details of the curation. If I were in charge, I would not allow any contributions from AI whatsoever.
If AI was able to mask their profiles making them seem legit none AI how would you be able to tell?
I don’t believe that it will ever come to this any time soon. but it is a really good debate that if AI was actually smartly advanced to deceive us into believing their actually human and not AI.
I just kind of find that fascinating to ponder.
As we all know AI has been developing over the years we have AI generating art, models, maybe even music so my question is when and if AI advances will there be a problem with AI Generated Games invading the itch markets just curious on this topic to see what people are thinking.
also no need to panic about this it’s only a matter of questioning the reality we are in today.
The game was cozy I caught all the bugs within a few minutes however I don’t know if this was my volume but at the beginning the music mostly the flute was loud and it gave me a short migraine not trying to dis the music I liked it after my ears settled to it’s rhythm it was an amazing experience catching all them buggies!
The effects caught my attention it took a while to install when I first loaded it I thought it froze but I think that was because my pc doesn’t have a graphics card to handle the rendering but after it loaded it ran smoothly I like the controls and the music was calming in all it was a cozy game I enjoyed it not sure what the objective was and the vibe I got off this game was mid evil times like oblivion, skyrim and other relatable games.
I enjoyed helping that pumpkin change the season to autumn.
all the objectives was good the movement controls was felt good although you could of added a turn animation for the player to make it look smoother also when the game is paused the player still turns.
the music was nice.
other then that it was a cozy game.
Here is my take on Pumpkin Shooter
the map was cozy just walking around and seeing all the detail.
I couldn’t tell if I was shooting the pumpkins or not that was my only issue.
The webgl worked but the downloadable didn’t.
but other then that I really enjoyed walking around the map being chased by pumpkins.
