what network system do you use for connecting players?

Reminds me of the binding of Isaac, one chest item got stuck on a wall I couldn’t get to.

I played it on the standalone I see the shader helped a little but when you flip the paper plane on the pitch it makes it hard to see where the front or back paper plane is so I look at the particle trail to see where I’m going.

Suggestion: would it control better if you used mouse instead of keyboard.

I’m curious what network system are you using?

Interesting concept this gave me a little creepy pasta vibes It needs more it was way to quick a game.

I used it but I kind of lost connection

I can’t tell if I’m upside down or not one of the most difficult controls I’ve ever played it’s got potential.

Note: if you anchor the roll so the paper plane doesn’t flip upside down that might fix the difficult controls.

This reminds me of Bloxorz from cool math games back in the day it’s an interesting game but lacking in the audio and it might need some more features playing as a cube isn’t challenging you might need more diversity.

The first time I clicked on a youtube link it directed me to it then a popup asking for browser permission I accidentally declined it and now it won’t show up anymore now every time I go to a youtube/twitter link it’s a blank white screen when I back out to itch it crashes the launcher.

Funny you mention that he did make a tower defense prototype before the game jam.

I can see people speed running this to the end at the top of the map.

My first game play the enemies got stuck at spawn but after I played it twice they started using the path you might need to look into that.

7/10 mainly because of the chicken toy xD

Good controls, needs more levels, and add gamepad input plz.

I would rate this prototype 7/10

Are you going to add more controller inputs like mobile because I was able to load it on mobile but couldn’t do anything?

I had to set physical to kinematics due to performance issues on my end.

It depends on the creator of that AI. They could add different levels of trainers to guide their AI. It’s always about trial n error for humans and AI but once they use trainers they get better at it until they have mastered it and move onto another skill or task.

Pumpkin Escape was fun and cozy my only issue was the text was out of view and when the platforms moved it carry the player with it.

This Game is giving me the Montezuma’s Revenge vibes from Atari.

your right this wouldn’t happen over night it takes years to train AI to that point depending on the state of humanity at that point.

I’ve thought of this before, but my best idea is to establish a database, akin to IndieDB, but with strict curation and only external links.

I’m with you on the database solution but did you think of AI that can hack into it and delete everything on it or better yet manipulate the algorithm?

Then the question is in the details of the curation. If I were in charge, I would not allow any contributions from AI whatsoever.

If AI was able to mask their profiles making them seem legit none AI how would you be able to tell?

I don’t believe that it will ever come to this any time soon. but it is a really good debate that if AI was actually smartly advanced to deceive us into believing their actually human and not AI.

I just kind of find that fascinating to ponder.

This game is giving me adventure time vibes after picking up the magnifying glass it’s amazing. xD

I agree, however just a thought what if there was more AI built games over stacking other games making it difficult to find normal non AI generated games?

I was talking about self learning AI without human intervention.

As we all know AI has been developing over the years we have AI generating art, models, maybe even music so my question is when and if AI advances will there be a problem with AI Generated Games invading the itch markets just curious on this topic to see what people are thinking.

also no need to panic about this it’s only a matter of questioning the reality we are in today.

I liked the mechanics where you had to set the kite to where the wind blows my only issue was trying to exit the game good music the game felt cozy.

Have the treaters request certain candy that might add more of a challenge to the players.

The game was cozy I caught all the bugs within a few minutes however I don’t know if this was my volume but at the beginning the music mostly the flute was loud and it gave me a short migraine not trying to dis the music I liked it after my ears settled to it’s rhythm it was an amazing experience catching all them buggies!

trust me I use up all my time fixing bugs in my game so I couldn’t polish it with more details or add graphics shaders and my code was spagette like. xD

cant wait to see what you do with Pumpkin shooter in the future!

thanks now I can finish the game and see to the end of it and finalize my rating.

really difficult to run the game without a graphics card nice movements and carving features.

The effects caught my attention it took a while to install when I first loaded it I thought it froze but I think that was because my pc doesn’t have a graphics card to handle the rendering but after it loaded it ran smoothly I like the controls and the music was calming in all it was a cozy game I enjoyed it not sure what the objective was and the vibe I got off this game was mid evil times like oblivion, skyrim and other relatable games.

I thought the pumpkin carve feature was really interesting I could carve the whole pumpkin then it just disappeared

I hope they do it was fun when I fell through the floor.

Same with this game please add graphics options for players like we with no graphics card it was slow for me I couldn’t even play it.

Before the final touch update I was able to run the game but now it wont load and just crashes before anything could load.

I enjoyed helping that pumpkin change the season to autumn.

all the objectives was good the movement controls was felt good although you could of added a turn animation for the player to make it look smoother also when the game is paused the player still turns.

the music was nice.

other then that it was a cozy game.

Here is my take on Pumpkin Shooter

the map was cozy just walking around and seeing all the detail.

I couldn’t tell if I was shooting the pumpkins or not that was my only issue.

The webgl worked but the downloadable didn’t.

but other then that I really enjoyed walking around the map being chased by pumpkins.

nvm the downloadable didn’t work for me but I’m trying it on webgl now

no problem sorry about that It looks like an interesting game tbh.

Game wont load so I cant rate it but if it did I would of rated it.
