Shouldn't have played after midnight, drinking coffee after midnight's a bad idea! Simple, cozy. Thanks for sharing!

Sorry for the coffee cravings! I was feeling tired when I was choosing beverages. Have a decaf or hot chocolate instead ^_^,

Nice and simple, good job.

One thing that would help a lot is to get a simple BGM in there.

Originally, there was going to be a portable music player pickup that starts the background music, but I didn't decide on a song and couldn't figure out a natural place to leave it within the two available rooms without bunching too many things together.

Man ima get some snacks and coffee, unfortunately no fireplace where I live, but all those thoughts in my head are based on ur game's coziness, great job for a fun lil game!

Thanks for taking the time to play my game and for leaving a comment,

Snacks and coffee is still plenty enough to get cozy and comfortable for the evening. The whole inspiration was from a morning where I still wanted to sleep in some more but the sun was up - I could still technically sleep (minimum comfort), but I would have felt better if the sun wasn't up (i.e. more comfort). Ultimately, although it would be pleasant to have more comfort, it's great that we already have an amount of comfort that we already consider acceptable.

I should have inserted a coffee brand for subliminal marketing purposes ^_^,

I'm happy that you enjoyed my choices in sound effects. However, I cannot take credit for their creation - I found all of them through https://pixabay.com/sound-effects/.

We've worked hard, so a cup of coffee and some downtime is well deserved.

Hey that was legit cozy. Simple, cozy satisfying. I would add a few more sound effects like a happy sigh or a few little animations like a cat in the background etc... but this was straight up simple cozy goodness. That was probably the fastest coziest game I've played so far lol.

I'm glad that you felt coziness from my game. I normally create action or arcade-type games, so switching gears was a challenge - I kept brainstorming elements that would induce tension or stress, or just overcomplicate things, which felt counterproductive to my idea of "cozy". I got the final idea when I still wanted to sleep in but the sun was up - I could still technically sleep (minimum comfort), but I would feel better if the sun wasn't up (i.e. more comfort).

I agree that more details like furniture and background elements, and more sound audio elements improve the game. I wanted to include more items and interactions for increasing coziness - a cat sitting on your lap by the fireplace would be a logical and perfect addition!
