This is incredible. I've still got a few more games to rate, but I do believe that your implementation of the 'One Rule' theme is probably the most clever implementation in the entire jam.
I love the graphics, it feels like something that I might have played on the Commodore 64. The 8-bit sound effects really bring the aesthetic together as well. Movement is clean and smooth and the entire thing really is just a '*chef's kiss*' of a game. I know it might seem a little overdramatic to say that this game has me speechless, but it really does, this is astounding for a 48-hour game!
Wow honestly thank you so much for playing my game and for such a lovely comment. I am a software developer as my main job but my passion is in games, and this is my 2nd game jam (and game) but first solo game jam, so reading comments like this gives more more drive to follow what I enjoy!
I’ll be updating it after the game jam, already added 2 levels and an ending :)
I loved the color palette, and implementation of the theme (even though the last level has 2 rules lol), it remind me of Baba is You, both in mechanics and feeling. I also like how self-explanatory it is, it's good use of the diversifier
Haha yeah its meant to be 1 long rule, but I didn’t convey that very well! Thank you very much, I used the great 1-bit pack from Kenney with a few of my own mods :) thanks for playing!
Love the pixel art, and the rules concept makes sense! I was trying to make a bridge out of the goblins at the 3rd level before trying out the lava toggle :D
Thank you for playing :) you know what… that actually sounds fun hahah future level idea!
interesting take on the challenge, this puzzle are awsome, but i find myself dyng cause of the lava
Thanks for playing :) I’ve fixed the bug, so will be updated when the game jam is over. In the meantime, select the player movement rule before the fire one, as a work around!
I really like the style of this game and it's a lot of fun! Found one small bug with the lava walking though (You have to choose player movement first and then lava protection).
Thanks for playing! I’ll fix the bug when we are allowed to update the game, cheers for the heads up!
Loved it! Wonderful idea and execution, even though it is not a common mechanic you get the hand of it in the blink of an eye, really intuitive and fun, i would love to play more of it, really awesome work!
Thank you for the amazing feedback!
Very cool, the graphics and sound FX are very cute and you have an interesting idea for a cool puzzle game!
Thank you for playing, really kind comments :)
Very nice, love the idea of this! Loads of potential for interesting puzzles, well done :)
