I'm really impressed at the ability to climb, that's a challenging mechanic to implement, especially with animations included! I also think the sound effect for collecting water is cute, and the fact that each level has a unique theme and aesthetic makes the game look really polished as well.

Thank you so much! im glad you liked it.

I liked how you implemented the controls, it feels "right" (sorry I don't know the word in english haha), maybe just the ladders feel a bit weird. I also liked the theme and the aesthetics, it goes very well with the gameplay

Thank you for your feedback! "feels right" is the correct expression dont worry. I will look into the ladders to see what I can do, thank you.

I liked how the water resource is the impetus to keep moving forward, and the platforming was very precise! Your answer to SabrinaP answered my question on whether there’s a fourth level :D Did you forget to turn off compression and set filter mode to point on the character sprite import settings (unity editor)? they seem a bit fuzzy. Grats on completing the jam!

Thank you so much for your feedback! Ohhh the thing is I never really worked on 2D so I didn´t know you were supossed to do that to the character sprites, but thank you so much for telling me I will try it out.

Nice to see someone incorporate the enviromentalism diversifier. The urgency you feel to save the plant is a great motivator to get through the platforming smoothly and quickly. Is it my imagination or is there a fourth scene? Everytime I got there I would get the game over upon start, even if I had extra life for myself and my plant.

I'm glad you liked it! Indeed there is a fourth level but i blocked it by mistake with the thanks for playing canvas so it is unreachable.

Really nice gameplay: clean UI and quick understanding of what you're trying to do, certain levels did feel a bit confusing as I felt like I didn't know where I should move to keep the level going, but other than that it was very addicting and I kept wanting to play. Nice flags to allow people to have checkpoints and the water meter + hearts was very nice. Also nice climbing animation.

Developer

Thank you so much for your kind feedback! You are right i didn´t realize the level progression wasn't as clear as i tought. I will love to implement a more straight forward progression to make the game more enjoyable

A great challenge for me

I liked this, it was interesting to have the player health along with the health of the tree as well.  I might have been trying to water the first tree that you climb at first though.  Also I'm not sure if it was supposed to end there or not, but when I got to level 5, it says thanks for playing even though it looks like there is a level there in the background.

Thank you so much for your feedback! yeah indeed there was another level but i blocked it with the ending screen by mistake and made it unreachable. I didnt figure out my mistake until it was to late to change it :c, hope you guys would have seen it i put the most effort on it but sometimes those things happen

Nice little game, I played through it twice! :P The controls are responsive and the art is nice and cohesive. It's a nice additional mechanic having the plant and not the player be the one you need to keep alive.

One suggestion id make is to speed it all up a bit, to make it feel more like the character is in a hurry really rushing to make sure the tree survives.

Thank you so much for your feedback!. Yeah the game came out kind of short because i block the last level by mistake. But i will love to implement your feedback to make the game more dynamic.
