Very impressive deckbuilding game and great use of the theme! One question I had is if it is possible to remove a card from software without having to play it. I figured out you can disable a card but there didn't seem to be a way to remove it. Even if it cost a turn, that would be a welcome addition. Also the Sledge cards are OP!

Hey thanks for the comments! Glad you enjoyed the game.

Yeah in this version there was no way to remove cards other than have them run out of use. Having some way to do this would be an interesting addition, whether that was with an ability cost or perhaps a card ability on some cards.

This is fantastic. I still have boxes of the old android:netrunner game that we'll break out in my house from time to time so this entry is *extremely up my alley*. I initially shared similar frustrations as the other reviewers in finding the mechanics a bit byzantine without better but realized i missed the "next" button on the how to play screen (was playing fullscreen) so it's somewhat on me..

Don't really have notes, would love to get a frame story around this. Great job.

Thanks for playing, glad you enjoyed it! I also have boxes of Netrunner lying around that I broke out in preparation for this jam, so that was fun! Definitely a big inspiration for this game.

Very cool game! I think some things could be explained a bit more clearly, e.g. took me ages to work out how to take on multistage servers, and I didn't know what hacking servers other than the main and financial servers did. Started to really enjoy it when I got the hang of it. Looks great, very cyberpunk. Gameplay is really solid. Well done!

Thanks for playing!

Yeah if we hadn't run ouf of time, adding some clarity to things would definitely be at the top of the todo pile on this one. Glad you enjoyed it though once you got to grips with it :)

Really like the core idea here and the cyberpunk feel is pretty great. The UI is a bit hard to read at times and the game itself is quite complicated. I don't know if I didn't grasp it right but I'm pretty sure I soft locked my game because I could disconnect one card on my board but I could never remove it and it also never took damage. Because of this, I was unable to replace it with one of my damaging cards making it impossible to pass a level I ran into that required getting 20 twice in a row. Until that point, I was really enjoying the game and I felt pretty compelled to keep playing so you did a fantastic job.

Thanks for the comments!

Glad you enjoyed your time with the game.

Yeah definitely this ended up being a pretty complicated game to put together in the jam time so unfortunately so there wasn't enough time to make everything as clear and understandable as I would have liked!

Really fun game!

The music is great for this atmosphere and the graphics fit really nice. I had the feeling, that the gameplay was a bit too chill, but I truly enjoyed it! Will definitely play it again.

This game has a big potential! I have fun figuring out how it should be played but when I did, I spend an hour or more playing and having fun.
1. Game Design : 8/10
2. Fun : 9/10
3. Graphics: 8/10
4. Audio : 8/10

It can be improved with adding;
• a restart button,
• a better tutorial,
• some plot elements,
• with more depth about the enemies.
But overall even without all of this it's fun to play! Totally recommend it.

This is some great feedback!
If we work on this some more we will definitely have to incorporate those things and make the game less barebones, menus and better tutorialisation and tooltips would be top of the priority list for sure.
