Pretty nice and polished, I liked the humor and the way the shop is turned into a dungeon. What I didn't like: no 'run' button to make running back and forth less tedious, and slowdown in a few areas.
Haha! If Duke Nukem and Night of the Consumer had a dungeon crawler baby, I love it.
XD so glad you enjoyed it!!
Busy supermarket as a dungeon is certainly a very good idea, pretty cool over the top setting and voice acting too.
The game feels great and is notably polished.
Thank you so much for the feedback n_n
Cool dialog, cool idea and cool art style. Cool Game :D
Bathroom taco :) Duke Nukem style speech samples :) Cool idea :)
I really liked that one.
i like tacos.
This was a lot of fun to play and the voice work really added to the humour! A mini map and some way of seeing how much damage the shopping bag does would have been nice as I couldn't work out if it was more useful to charge it full to attach or do a number of faster attacks, but all in all it was a really fun game and probably my favourite of all the ones I have tried out so far. The setting and humour really made it!
I had some lag my side whenever I turned around and occasionally when I moved forward, but that could just be my PC.
I loved it! Good humor and a fun time! The theme was so original and worked very well, good job all around!
Thank you so much!!
This was a damned good time. The little voice bits you did really add to the comical nature of the game. I would love for a few other attack possibilities, or perhaps some dodge function.
"Would you mind reading this, I dropped my glasses" ... *start beating old lady with a bag* ... "You should meet my grandson!"
Gorgeous work haha. I found all the goods on my shopping list and would make my way into your next shopping emporium :)
Thank you so much!
A dungeon crawler into a supermarket, what a superb idea, I just love it!
The art, the atmosphere, the musics, the voices, everything in this game put me into a good mood :)
And I admit, this game made me laugh, thank you very much for your participation, it was a really fun game!
Thank you so much! It's great to hear you enjoyed it :)
Fun little game. I really like the clean aestethics, audio and humour!
Could really benefit from a map.
Thank you! :)
Love the theme, it's a clever setting for a dungeon crawler and genuinely fun to play! The voice acting is a really nice detail and brought a lot of character to the game, even if the sound quality of it wasn't perfect.
It was easy to figure out the objective and get into the gameplay quickly, which I appreciated! I would have liked if the enemies had a health bar to understand how my effective my attacks were, and judging how close I was to winning.
It was easy to get lost sometimes, but it feels like a real supermarket that way.
Simple but fun, a proper jam game, great job!
Kicking myself over the health bar, didn't even consider it because you could see the health remaining in the debug log XD
Thank you so much for the feedback!
This was highly humorous. Imagine Duke Nukem going shopping, complete with the attitude and corny punchlines. Brilliant.
Controls could use a little work to make them smoother and (honestly) faster, but other than that, the game really made me laugh.
Thank you so much for your comment! We had a great time making it, adding the voice lines had us in stitches!!
Hope you have as much fun playing this as we did making it!
We'd love to hear your comments!
