Simple, but working gameplay, made it to the end. Props for verticality.

Unreal game in this jam don't seem to be working under wine. You really should have screenshots and a description on your game page. That way I wish I could play it like some of the other games.

A game with verticality, nice.
But why Unreal engine, isn´t this a bit overkill ;)
While movement was smooth, I wish I could press down on the keys instead of having to tap every time to move.

Developer

Yeah, I love verticality in levels :)
Why Unreal Engine? Well, that is the engine I prefer to use so far... :)

As for press & hold movement... I'll probably add it in a later stage, perhaps when I continue on this work?

The different elevations was a nice touch and not seen many other games. The ice boots were a good idea as a pickup. We have to ask... why was it a 481Mb download?! We didn't hear any audio. Movement was smooth. Well done for completing your game. We did get to the end, just. Thanks for making it.

Thanks for playing my game (On 1 health? Lucky! :D)

The file size is a common problem with Unreal Engine 4 games - Even though I've cut off assets that haven't been included at all, it still tends to inflate the file size. Plus, let's be honest, I'm still not that comfy with the engine either, so I'm probably missing stuff too... :)

I didn't hear any sounds either :(

Developer

Yep. No sound... :(

didnt hear no music.

i like that magic is powered by judaism.

Developer

Wasn't really promoting any particular religion, but hehe... Anyways, there isn't any sound or music to hear, so nothing is broken there... :)

Like CryptRat wrote; the movement is fast and I like that a lot. I can see this developed further into an enjoyable game. Already have some mechanics there. Great to see you have added verticality. Keep up the good work :)

Developer

Thanks! I'd love to develop it further into an actual game. If I can't get the AI to behave, maybe I'd focus on a more puzzler approach.
I like verticality in my levels - I used to build levels for Descent series, (and Overload, more recently) so I always tend towards it a bit.

Thanks for exploring this dungeon(ette)!

The game looks notably sweet and I like the fast movement. What's there regarding gameplay is promising.

This is really a game you're very sad that it ends that early.

Developer

I totally agree. Thanks for your reply!
