I found the hat using only the first spell. The game is smooth and mapping the level while killing the blue slimes and avoiding the orange ones was actually pretty fun, instant movement makes so much of a difference to me. Nice entry, thanks for sharing.

I read the other reviews after trying to play.

I didn't find any spells.

My assumption was that I had to trace out the shape of the runes in the wheel to cast them
Since tying to cast hurt me, I just ran around the maze avoiding fights until I got stuck.

The set up was good, and the movement was nice and responsive, but I think starting with a spell would have been a good move.

Found a spell around my second try but couldn't escape the dungeon before being killed by slimes! It's a nice idea, but I would have like to see a bit more.

The casting spell system looks interesting but I think walking around the whole dungeon just to get a basic attack is just not it. You should at least start with a crappy attack that lets you at least kill some slimes.

Practically uniform turdwalls!

I learnded the fire spell.

And fried some blobbers.

Eventually I died in a swirl of technicolor.

Okay, it was a bit painful but eventually I got through it. I found two spells, but only by luck and perserverance bordering on obsession, because the font is very very hard to miss and small and doesn't stand out in any way.

To save others the trouble, the spells are:

CENTER-NE-E -> Fire spell

CENTER-SW-W -> Ice spell

I dunno if there are others, but these will be enough to get you to the end.

Good graphics and music and concept otherwise. The main mechanic being hidden in this pixel-hunt however dragged the game down :(

Graphics and music are nice. Like others commented, couldn't fins any spells. Even the one shown in the explanation of the rune mechanics didn't seem to work.

I've been running around in the maze for a while now but I can't find any spells.

The opening music, story presentation and the description of the rune mechanic got me excited.

But once in the game the environment was very disorienting, and I did not find any spells. When I would try to cast spells I would only hurt myself.
