I smashed everything in the dungeon.
The game looks good and the style of the environment, the enemies and the UI are very consistent. Movement is snappy and feels good. I love the idea of implementing the solitude theme through the character fighting insanity by talking to puppets and the puppet is very cute, that's super cool, and the way it works through managing your material to maintain the puppet is pretty fine as well.
From my experience shards are a trap ;). I got killed a few times and realised the solution to win was to not using them (I think using the yellow one even froze the game).
I don't like that I can't advance through the dialogs at my own pace and the same can be said about combat. In theory both bars increasing in real-time might work as it should mean you need to push forward but even ignoring the current balance I think one way I would possibly prefer is if Solitude increased either at each step or in the beginning or ending of each combat while life is regained only via potions.
The game is currently unpolished but it's a cool entry, thanks for sharing.
I did not get far, tried 4 times and got further the last one. Had some issues where I did not align correctly to the tiles and couldn't enter a doorway. Combat was tough and I tried using the T- companion several times but unsure if it made any difference. Sometimes my health regenerated and sometimes not.
You’re off to a great start! Art and interface is solid. I hope to see you again in the next DC Jam :D

Thanks a lot for giving it a try and for your feedback
The graphics are great, I love the style. And the grid movement is ok but I got off grid more than once and couldn't enter a door. Combat is better served fleeing as you can die even to a single enemy from full health. I would almost suggest to not even include a web build if it's not at parity with the download. Sound and music would have gone a long way as I didn't download the game. Also the dialogue should be skippable, after dying twice it was a slog to sit through it again since the game restarts you.
Unfortunately I couldn't finish the handful of times I tried due to getting off grid and I believe I needed to enter that particular door to advance..
I liked the style but didn't like the janky controls. keyboard for this, mouse for that. no help and no logic to it either - not the best start.
The camera got bleached when you were close to things - again maybe trying for the madness thing, but didn't really work and wasn't nice to play.
The real nail was the anti control scheme. you felt like it was always fighting you. stop the action press the mouse, now use the keys, now do something else - Just not a good experience.
But I liked the graphics and the general concepts
I like the way you handled the camera and visuals here, It seems like you may have ran out of time to polish the combat system though, as others have noticed. I think this is a good effort for the jam though, and I like the direction you were headed!
That art was pretty damn awesome. I couldn't get behind the combat though. Unless I was missing something, It seemed like the only way to defeat enemies was to spam attack until I had a sliver of health. Flee. Let the health recharge, then go back and repeat. This process wasn't fun and involved no real sense of dexterity. Was also very time consuming given the amount of enemies in a really small space.
I really liked the look of this one, and had fun navigating the maze. The combat was so tedious though, mostly because it took so long to chip away at an enemy's health.
I liked the pixel art. Unfortunately I found the dialogues appear very slowly. Also, I found myself waiting for my health bar to refill before each combat, and makes fights feel repetitive. Nevertheless, nice start!
I really liked the extra dialogue and little camera movements and the pixel art felt right. Combat felt a little weird and I didn't have any sound in the webgl version (not sure if that was intentional or not). Good submission though!
Happy you gave it a try and thanks a lot for the feedback the audio in the web version sadly doesn't work because a bug that i couldn't fix in time but it works on the .ex
The graphics were nice and the lights made a nice ambience, but the game was very buggy for me. I could ne win single battle and had to resort to flee all the time, which allowed to step by the enemies. And then in on battle the game crashed on. I used the download version, as I wanted to have the soundeffects, which are pretty good.
yeah I sould have focused way more on bug fixing .Thanks for playing it and for the feedback
Loved the pixel art, adored the little puppet friend just for the sake of it. I did find myself trying to interact/pickup things and not sure if I could or not, could have just been me doing something wrong or misreading though.
Fun time though, nice presentation.
Yeah saddly there are some bugs in the collectable items Thanks a lot for playing it and giving feedbac
Nice job! great presentation and atmosphere! GREAT pixel art graphics, really liked this one
Thanks a lot really aprpreciate the feedback
A nice entry. Nice pixel art and a good way to tell the story (sometimes a bit too much unskipable story).
I noticed some instances where I would end up pushed off the grid aka the player position ended up beeing out of sync with the level geometry causing all kind of problems.
yeah i noticed that and sadly didn't have time to fix. Thanks a lot for the feedback!
UI looks awesome! Grate job!
Thanks you !
Overall, really fun game! loved the art and overall aesthetic! Rating a 4 mainly because of a few game-breaking bugs (couldn't pickup the Green shard nor use the blue one after I picked it up for some reason :()
Nevertheless, really good direction overall! Loved it! If this is your first game, trully keep at it, you have a good eye for it!
Yeah i discovered this bug after submitting it Thanks for the feedbac
