How does your game relate to the theme?
"EGGHUNT" creatively incorporates the theme of hunting as players take on the role of an egg being hunted by relentless bunnies. The gameplay revolves around defending oneself against these predatory creatures, strategically using candy-themed arrows as weapons in a thrilling survival challenge. It's a little hard, but fun!

Awesome game! I do wish the map was a little bigger. I felt like the only viable option was to kite around the small body of water near the center of the map. Additionally, I accidentally took the center upgrade several times (more times than not, actually) because I was trying to click to shoot an arrow. Some sort of timer (even .5-1 second) before the upgrade buttons become active would be excellent.

Again, a super fun game! Great job!

I really liked the upgrading system for this game. Enemies felt a little too strong at the start but the upgrades do make up for that. Great game!

Feel free to check out our team's game if you have time!

Developer

Glad you enjoyed it! Sorry couldn't check out your game as I don't have a windows laptop :'(  I'm sure its amazing though looking at the itch page ^_^

quite nice game, the vampire survivor gameplay loop works, however there is some flaw: there is only one type of enemy which has a lot of life at the start, their movement speed is quite high and it you have to click to pull this which means that you often find yourself clicking on the upgrades without even having the time to read them.

Developer

Thanks for playing! I agree with your points, especially the part about accidentally clicking on upgrades D:

Was a little overwhelmed at the start, so many bunnies o.o But it's a good solid idea! I liked the upgrade system :3 And once I got the hang of things it was fun to play

Developer

Yeah I think I added a few too many in the beginning D: Glad you ended up having fun once you got a hang of it ^^

Funny little game in the survivor genre!!

Developer

Thanks for playing! Glad you like it :)

You did a really good job in you game! The game is fun and has a simple, but efficient core mechanic. The only problem is that it gets kind of hard really fast, but for some reason it doesn't makes me rage, so... Congratulations!

Developer(+1)

Thanks for playing and reviewing our game ^_^
Glad that you found it challenging without being rage inducing :)

I spent more time than I want to admit on your game :)

It reminds of me the zombie mode in Call Of Duty ... gives me so many good memories :)

However, as others said, the spawn rate is a bit too much at the beginning, so hard to get past that. I also get stuck a lot against the walls.

Finally i wished it was more clear what arrow we have next and the current (like maybe in tetris where we see the next and current blocks) so we can strategize more and maybe see more of the effect in game, because honestly i can"t remember the text you wrote on Itch when I play :D

But I spent a really good time on it :)

Also i found a bug, if in shop, you can still shoot and kill the bunnies :')

Developer(+1)

Thank you for playing and leaving a comment :)I’m glad it reminded you of good times and was enjoyable! I agree that the balancing needs a little more tweaking and the tetris suggestion is something that would definitely add more strategy to the game!

Fun game, but i think it should have some limit for how many rabbits can be spawned because at the begginnig they can easily attack the player from both sides and kill it without chance of scape

Developer

Yeah I think one or two would have been enough. Glad you found it fun though :D

Nice game and good use of this genre. The sound was a bit high. When you add sound on your game try to add a controll to change the volume or at least a button to mute the sound.

Developer

Yeah a lot of people have been saying that. Will def add volume settings in the future. Thanks for the feedback ^^

You are welcome, i would also love to here your feedback on my own entry.

Nice one! I got about 120 points - dodging the bunnies while shooting explosive arrows at them is a good time. One thing I realised - the sound effects are a bit too loud compared to the music

Developer

Thanks for leaving feedback! I agree with the sound effects being too loud. I didn’t realize how loud they were until after submitting TwT

Nice game M8. I liked very much the arrows´s animations and their upgrades. Nice Job!!

Developer

Thanks! I'm glad you like the game :)

Fun Game!

I think a volume slider would have gone a long way, i think the sound effects were a bit too loud.

More upgrades would of course be nice, the gameplay loop is pretty simple but enjoyable! (I got to 300 points)

Developer

Thanks for the feedback, I agree that a volume slider would improve the audio experience. Glad you enjoyed the game ^-^ and congrats on the score I've only gotten to 200.
