This is a nice game! The card back is beautiful, the dice roll sound at the start is crisp, and the way the numbers shift as you stack the tiles is pleasing. I wouldn’t mind a more challenging mode, but this is satisfying.
Nice game idea! I enjoyed playing it (I guess it must be better playing against another human than against the computer, but it was not possible for me to do so).
Did you come up with the rules by yourself or is it some kind of existing board game?
Thanks for playing! The rules were inspired by the game gin rummy but I created them to fit the jam theme.
I loved this game. The rules were really well defined and clear (and still I didn't get them in the beginning). I enjoyed that is really balanced, were sometimes low number values matter a lot.
The game is simple in a positive way, and the pieces movement is super smooth.
My only complain is the feeling sometimes is a but difficult to predict anything. As the last piece on top, you have 2 chances and if you put yourselves on the situation on depending on yellow and got purples twice... that was your risk! (Also my lack of statistics skills doesn't help on it :P)
My best game:
I know that sometimes getting the wrong color twice in a row at the end can be frustrating but I couldn’t come up with a solution that didn’t significantly increase the complexity of the game.
Thanks for playing and giving feedback.
Simple and good performance. I enjoyed it very much but I couldn't win by CPU ;). Thanks!
Thanks for playing! I’m glad the CPU is challenging and it would have been pretty easy to add a weaker AI (if you read the source code you can see it just simulates a bunch of games, so lowering the iterations would make it weaker) but I ran out of time.
I don’t think I completely understand the scoring system. But still very cool game that I suck at.
What part was confusing? Was it difficult to visualize the edges of the pyramid?
Thanks for playing.
