Love the atmosphere on this one! The live violin really adds a ton and really took this over the top!

The tension is palpable, the piano game maintains well that.

What is the background sound you hear from the beginning that comes back regularly? It sounds like the turkey chuckle. It’s more audible at 0:29, but this is like a moan.

I like the passage of percussion almost solo towards the middle which makes think of intense heartbeats.

The end represents the confusion that can generate 1000 pigeons.

I got the goosebumps... nice job!

Thank you, appreciate it! Those sounds are actually a sample of a chicken (pigeons sounds were hard to find haha) that I pitched up a bit. Also, I'm glad you picked up on the "heartbeat" feeling in that section! That was exactly what I was trying to do by emphasizing a 2+3 rhythm.

Hey again! I had high hopes from hearing your 'Down to Dino Town' track for Town Music Jam #3, and you did not disappoint!

That's an excellent description of chaos! This perfectly captures a chaotic feeling of 'GET OUT'. I feel like this isn't even a battle anymore, but an escape section. I don't know what it is you're doing with low piano notes, high scrapings or whatever, and time signature changes... I cannot grasp this song's structure yet I am not annoyed or lost due to its simplicity and repetitiveness (something that is rarely a good thing except if you are e.g. messing with time signatures). Those sounds at 0:42, what are those? They sound awesome. I hear a 5/8 time signature at 0:30, a 6/8 time signature at certain intervals, but also... 7/8? It's all over the place, but it sounds nice! Really interesting entry :D

Hello, nice to see you participating in this jam again as well!

Thanks so much for the kind words! I really appreciate it. I'm glad you got the feeling of "get out" because my aim was more of a "fight off the pigeons as you escape" type battle. Also, those sounds at 0:42 I recorded with a violin and then chopped up to make weird rhythmic stuff. I don't actually play violin, but I own a super cheap one that I use to make horror sounds haha.

Oh, that is awesome, that you make the sounds yourself! In the near future I would love to try and make my own sounds as well, this inspires me :D
