i like the mood it transports a lot! :)
A text adventure! Reminded me of the ZX Spectrum era. Very good job. Maybe needs some polishing in graphics. I loved the side menu and the save option.
I seemed to get stuck wandering around the Inn and didnt know what I was to do next (firefox browser)
Was it Act 2 that you were stuck in?
I did upload an update adjusting some variable arguments, so hopefully that fixes and progress locks.
Yes Act2 I just rewound - ive been to all three floors and 9 places and all end with change location again as far as I can see
Have you tried restarting progress completely or refreshing the web browser to load the patch files?
Act 3 should automatically start after several location changes and npc interactions.
Otherwise, I will look into adjusting the mapping more if the problem persists.
Started again using Chrome got to act2, did all the locatons and interactions again, was about to give up and did a final click.... 9:00pm... and Act3
Why is FitzGerald in the Murderer Column?
I thought he was dead?
Shouldnt it be Elliot?
Post accusation when wrong would be nice if what you entered before was left.

Great mood. Congrats on finally finishing it!
Enjoyable game, and good to see a fellow detective mystery! The art style worked well with the theme, and interface was nice and easy to use. Personally, it took me a few guesses to get the motive right, but I got there in the end.
A couple of very minor issues I spotted:
- Both Act 4 and Act 5 are called "Pray Tell". Perhaps they were supposed to be named different things?
- Once the "Gather People For Accusation" button appeared, travelling anywhere in the First Floor caused the text to appear on top of each other.
Other than those tiny things, an overall neat little mystery. Congrats!
Was interesting, I got stuck in act 4 but I enjoyed the the game and the story as it was developing
