  • Cool mood, cute setup in the sky with the candy. I wish the inputs were introduced directly in the game, you can't talk to the first tutorial NPC without first knowing the inputs. Probably having a little "press E" pop up next to them would help. Cute game.

Did you work alone, or as part of a group? (If in a group, list their names)
Alone

Disclose if you used any public domain assets or not.
I used absolutely *no* public domain assets (pretty proud of that although the quality might have been a bit goofier)

I have to say thanks to my mom who doesn’t have the best English accent for one of the voicelines 😅

Points for creativity, no doubt, but having to place down the cotton candy one at a time made it so I spent a lot of time going back and forth (even when I realized I could throw them), and this doesn't really mesh well with the fact that it's not always obvious where you're even supposed to be going. A really great concept that I wish didn't feel so time-consuming.

Cool game!

Building you own path is cool and I was suprised that there was voices. Having to defeat enemies and defend the cotton candy is fun.

Like the other comments have said. I think that being ably to carry more than one cotton candy and/or being able to walk through them would be good. I spent a lot of time having to throw them far and making a couple of highways with them. Also maybe it would have been good if each furnace has a limit to spawned cotton candy it can have at a time. At the last furnace there was like a sea of them.

Oh I’m really happy that the game was playable! Didn’t even have time to playtest and I thought it was not going to be good at all! Thanks for the suggestions, I might fix this at some point! 😁

Have fun playing all the fun submissions!

I think some way to get cotton candy faster like a dash or being able to carry more would improve the gameplay a lot because always walking from the nearest candy spawner to where you're building got a bit tedious. Still, solid concept and I like the art!

Developer

Just wondering, did you try to constantly throw and pick up the cotton to go faster? Initially I was searching for a way to make carrying the candy fun and interesting and somebody suggested threats - didn’t work out as well as I thought, a dash might have been good like you said! Thanks for the constructive feedback :D

Nope, I just picked it up and only dropped it if an enemy was near!

I like how you gave the npc's real voices. it would be cool if you could walk through the cotton candy after throwing it for easier transportation

Developer

Yeah I ran into this issue too, should have fixed it! Actually, I gave NPCs real voices because I couldn’t make a dialog system 😅
