Fun and relaxing indeed!
One thing that bothered me was that sometimes it felt like I did hit the "center fishing spot" (I don't know what to name it) but still failed, so to fish succesfully I decided to hit R just when the line enters, right at the edge.
Also when buying something I didn't have any money, but I coulnd't go back so I pressed every button but nothing getting stuck at "Buy", eventually having to restart the game...
(Also not a bother but just in case you wanna polish this little detail, when catching a fish and that box down there appears, if you move the fishing rod disappears, despite remaining on the "Fishing" event)
But for the rest, I liked the game!
(Also when I found Puffarius, my first instinct was trying to feed em with fish lol)
(My page glitched and this reply appeared like 5 times or something, just in case anyone saw it)
Hey man, the center fishing box being bugged I was aware of but I couldn't come up with a solution in time, I'll fix it when the jam is over. you can get out of the shop its a bit confusing but you need to press Q, I was running out of time with the shop so I had to improvise, thank you for your feedback :)

I can't believe I didn't try that one, haha (I admit to have rushed into downloading the game and didn't pay too much attention to the description which literally had the answer to my problem)
Thanks dude and now that I think about it, maybe adding keyhints would be a good idea for less intuitive players (like me)

Augh.. the pixel water makes my eyes cross. Kinda wanna catch one of the seagulls.
haha, catching seagulls with a fishing rod is a brilliant idea, too bad I didn't think about it. My eyes would cross at the water when they got too strained while making it, be sure you're getting sufficient sleep and taking breaks, thank you so much for playing :)

Awesome monochromatic art and the sound environment with the waves and seagulls is very relaxing. I like that the shopkeeper is a shark, very fishy :D There is a lot of attention put to detail and I really enjoyed playing.
