I made this song to depict the feeling of someone striving to reach a summit to feel whole and revel in accomplishment, but when they reach the top, they realize that it doesn't mean much without someone to share the view with. It's meant to be heartfelt and bittersweet.
To Break The Rules, I included a key change in this piece and also break of silence. The key change is used to paint the idea of accession as you climb the mountain and the silence a sense of both awe and emptiness as you reach the top.

I would be so enchanted to hear this start playing as I begin a new journey of self-discovery. The repeating melody genuinely becomes a bit heart wrenching towards the end, longing for a time where it felt new and hopeful. I'm inclined to point out ways in which you could have painted even more vivid a scene with more instruments and soundscapes; but I think that as a video game soundtrack, this song might already be as complex as it needs to be. Very impressive and evocative submission!

I love the emotions that comes out out this, I had feelings of hope and nostalgia throught the piece. Cool melodic ideas, and well done on the modulations at 1:00, as chords go up a tone (I think) it really feels like ascending.

This is such a peaceful and beautiful piece! I love how light and airy it sounds, while also capturing the feeling of climbing up a mountain! You did a great job evoking emotion with this one, and it fits the theme absolutely perfectly

this is so sweet and nostalgic. one nitpick, after your moment of silence at 1:10 i was anticipating more of a change up or climax, especially because you did a good job creating tension just before. that being said I'm not sure your song would benefit from a climax there.
Thanks for the feedback! Yea I agree, I think I’ll want to work on that section a bit more in the future. I wasn’t sure if I wanted to make it very climatic or more anticlimactic to play into a sense of yearning for something more. I definitely want to play around with that section more :)
The melody is very nice, and well supported the guitar. I think the key change works well, as I start feeling the bittersweetness in the later part of the track
Like the mood this transports! For me the lead piano could be a bit lower in volume, and maybe a bigger drum variation for the second half could improve the track a bit.
