Very pretty and soothing, and some beautiful harmonies and chord progressions in there. I also really like the balance of everything it blends super well!

I love the creativity in this submission, from the panning to the 3/4 polyrhythm feel, I really enjoyed it. 5/5 for creativity for sure :)

Extra points for CAT!

It's a really pretty submission, I love the melodies and the mood changes that others also pointed out. The melodies are really pretty and in general I think you were really able to convey that journey up the mountain very well

I love this submission! It has such a great anime feel to it and the emotion in the melody is palpable. Really beautiful :)

I really liked your track and I love the instrumentation you chose for the submission. I could envision the boss battle as you described and I think the music works perfect for that :)

Thanks for the feedback! Appreciate the constructive criticism and agree with it too. I just wanted to say for Bard or a Balatro I made the flute sound ridiculous on purpose to emphasize how silly it’s suppose to be. Imagining a Bard going ham on the flute and dying for breath is the part of the fun for me 😊 still though I think I could add in some breaths to emphasize that even so, its a good idea. Thank you for listening!

The composition and mix is a lot better than you think probably. I think you'd be okay making things a little louder and the bass can be booming since it'll help convey that sense of vastness you're going for. The composition is honestly great though! All the parts work really well together and I love all the layers! Awesome work!

I think you totally nailed the retro-future synth vibe you were going for! Super great work overall! :)

I really like the melodies in your work, they're very pretty and I love that you decided to call back to some of your pieces cause it's a great way to make everything super cohesive for a soundtrack. Really good work! :)

P.S. I think Sheer Cold is my favorite of the bunch,  I just love the groove on that one and the plinky glock/xylophone sound

Hey we both made boss soundtracks for a mountain king that's cool! I love the switch up done halfway through the track and it's done so seamlessly too. Kind of reminds me of some GOT music and GOT music is amazing so really great work :D

I really like how the song develops and grows. I like the middle and end sections a lot more than the beginning, at first I thought the percussion in the start was  unintentional clipping and the silence in the start also seemed out of sorts. For the percussion at the start maybe giving it a little bit of resonance or pitch might help to make it sound closer to the percussion in the later parts of your track but still different.

This track really makes me zone out in a good way, its super cool in that way. I think it would be interesting to add more little musical moments in the background to engage the listener a little more though.

I really liked Formed Glass, the percussion in that is just really interesting and I could totally see a game in some kind of industrial, mechanical, or robotic setting that would love this kind of sound. Super cool and creative submission!

Really well done ambient electronic music. I really loved some of the harmonies in here that just had a beautiful balanced tension and release. The composition is really well done. Great work :)

Really great music and it really plays on the theme and build this world as you listen to it, the otherworldly outer space feeling is there for sure! Awesome work :)

I really love these compositions, I could totally see souls-like devs wanting music like this in their games, its really well composed. Great work!

This is a great submission, I really like how you created a backstory and the music works really well to tell that story. Really appreciate the extra effort people go to, to add this kind of story in their music. That little major sounding section near the middle is a super beautiful touch, like a moment of hope.

Hey this is an awesome track, I really liked it. After that first riser I almost expected more of a change to the music, it could be a great place to add a cut and then introduce a drum track, or something kind of big change if you wanted to do that in the future! Great work!

I cant wait to hear this orchestrated cause I think it would sound so amazing with some low ends to bring out the depth of your composition even more. This was really pretty even as just a piano track though and I think you nailed the idea you were going for. Awesome submission! :)

I love the melodies in this and it has a super cool fun vibe overall. I loved how jazzy it was at times, those little jazzy notes and turns in the melody were definitely my favorite parts.

The key change is really pretty here and it evokes reflection and even exhilaration really well.  Really pretty submission and it was really nice to listen to.

I definitely respect that :) Cool work!

That’s super cool! They sound really clean so you mixed them super well :)

Thanks for the feedback! Yea I agree, I think I’ll want to work on that section a bit more in the future. I wasn’t sure if I wanted to make it very climatic or more anticlimactic to play into a sense of yearning for something more. I definitely want to play around with that section more :)

I hear you, I assumed you were trying to outline chords with the lead line or bell sound in the first section, like in an arpeggio but maybe you were going for something different and that’s cool too. I like your pixel art btw, I forgot to mention that :)

I really love both of these tracks and I could see a lot of devs wanting to use these in their games. I like how different they are in character and it shows a lot of skill expression from you to be able to pull off both an upbeat fun composition contrasted with a slower heartfelt one. Super great work!

Really cool tense music here and I liked the use of all the bends and also the repeating parts being passed around through different instrumentation to create a sense of tension.

I really like the second and the third track and the character in your music in general. I think the rhythm in the first track  was clashing a little (the rhythm in the instrument tracks didn't meld very well with one another)  and made it harder to listen to. It might also be that the instruments you were using were unintentionally accenting beats that worked against the time signature.  I really like the idea of "conversations" though and the rhythms you chose to work with to evoke that idea worked really well. Great work!

I really like the humming and whistling in this track and the mix is really good since everything blends together in such a pleasing way. Just wondering, was the whistle and hum self recorded or did you use a sample? (Sorry if you already mentioned that somewhere and I didn't see it)

What a fun track and it was really enjoyable to listen to. I think it was really well balanced in terms of breaking the rules while still being fun and enjoyable to listen to. That's not easy to do so this is really great work!

I'm a sucker for jazzy stuff so I really like this submission. I only wish there were more to fill out the instrumentation cause it still felt kind of sparse.  Though that's just something I personally would've liked to see. Awesome work!

Super great lo-fi feel to this track, it sounds amazing! Great work

You had some cool ideas in this submission and I can definitely tell you wanted to go for something that was more crunchy and dissonant. As someone who knows some musical theory, I think there's a more balanced way you could approach creating that dissonance. Even when you're composing really dissonant sounding music, it works best if you have a key in mind that you're trying to compose around and then adding careful tension and release. You did a really good job breaking the rules though and taking lots of risks.

Really cool submission, I really like the idea of using different time signatures. They add a lot of variety and chaos  in a cohesive way that works really well. I could totally see this being used in a game where there's a boss fight with varying phases or even just a chase scene.  I didn't really mind the repetitive melody line since there was so much changing in other parts of the instrumentation for my ears to grab on to.

This is a great submission, awesome work on the beat and you really nailed the style you were going for.

There are some really cool sounds and ideas in here. Sometimes a mix of so many different ideas though can make it so that no one idea is able to shine or peak through. While staying true to you style it could be cool to try and add a reoccurring motif to bring a cohesiveness to everything. Then again, if your style is all about straying away from that I would understand. Super cool submission though great work!

I really like this submission. I like all of the different instrumentation you used and they all blend really nicely.

I really like the section where the piano comes in and I thought it gave the piece a lot of structure in contrast to the beginning which was more explorative. In the first section, I think there's maybe better chords or chord clusters that could have been chosen. I felt more generally, that there were a lot of tense chords without a proper release chord to tie it all together but I can understand if that's what you were going for.  It's a really pretty lullaby overall and super meditative.

Sorry about that! It should be fixed now

Sorry! The Soundcloud link should be working now, I’ll also add the download in a few seconds. Thanks for letting me know.
