Very pretty and soothing, and some beautiful harmonies and chord progressions in there. I also really like the balance of everything it blends super well!

Thanks for the feedback! Appreciate the constructive criticism and agree with it too. I just wanted to say for Bard or a Balatro I made the flute sound ridiculous on purpose to emphasize how silly it’s suppose to be. Imagining a Bard going ham on the flute and dying for breath is the part of the fun for me 😊 still though I think I could add in some breaths to emphasize that even so, its a good idea. Thank you for listening!
The composition and mix is a lot better than you think probably. I think you'd be okay making things a little louder and the bass can be booming since it'll help convey that sense of vastness you're going for. The composition is honestly great though! All the parts work really well together and I love all the layers! Awesome work!
I really like the melodies in your work, they're very pretty and I love that you decided to call back to some of your pieces cause it's a great way to make everything super cohesive for a soundtrack. Really good work! :)
P.S. I think Sheer Cold is my favorite of the bunch, I just love the groove on that one and the plinky glock/xylophone sound
I really like how the song develops and grows. I like the middle and end sections a lot more than the beginning, at first I thought the percussion in the start was unintentional clipping and the silence in the start also seemed out of sorts. For the percussion at the start maybe giving it a little bit of resonance or pitch might help to make it sound closer to the percussion in the later parts of your track but still different.
This is a great submission, I really like how you created a backstory and the music works really well to tell that story. Really appreciate the extra effort people go to, to add this kind of story in their music. That little major sounding section near the middle is a super beautiful touch, like a moment of hope.
I really love both of these tracks and I could see a lot of devs wanting to use these in their games. I like how different they are in character and it shows a lot of skill expression from you to be able to pull off both an upbeat fun composition contrasted with a slower heartfelt one. Super great work!
I really like the second and the third track and the character in your music in general. I think the rhythm in the first track was clashing a little (the rhythm in the instrument tracks didn't meld very well with one another) and made it harder to listen to. It might also be that the instruments you were using were unintentionally accenting beats that worked against the time signature. I really like the idea of "conversations" though and the rhythms you chose to work with to evoke that idea worked really well. Great work!
You had some cool ideas in this submission and I can definitely tell you wanted to go for something that was more crunchy and dissonant. As someone who knows some musical theory, I think there's a more balanced way you could approach creating that dissonance. Even when you're composing really dissonant sounding music, it works best if you have a key in mind that you're trying to compose around and then adding careful tension and release. You did a really good job breaking the rules though and taking lots of risks.
Really cool submission, I really like the idea of using different time signatures. They add a lot of variety and chaos in a cohesive way that works really well. I could totally see this being used in a game where there's a boss fight with varying phases or even just a chase scene. I didn't really mind the repetitive melody line since there was so much changing in other parts of the instrumentation for my ears to grab on to.
There are some really cool sounds and ideas in here. Sometimes a mix of so many different ideas though can make it so that no one idea is able to shine or peak through. While staying true to you style it could be cool to try and add a reoccurring motif to bring a cohesiveness to everything. Then again, if your style is all about straying away from that I would understand. Super cool submission though great work!
I really like the section where the piano comes in and I thought it gave the piece a lot of structure in contrast to the beginning which was more explorative. In the first section, I think there's maybe better chords or chord clusters that could have been chosen. I felt more generally, that there were a lot of tense chords without a proper release chord to tie it all together but I can understand if that's what you were going for. It's a really pretty lullaby overall and super meditative.
