Kazan no Uta - The Song of the Volcano - generated from the picture in the jam's theme. It inspired me to make a song that could only be heard on the peak of the volcano.
The song starts with wind and a choir of deep voices with huge reverb, like monks on an isolated temple located on a tall volcano. Then a sudden eruption, and the track gets frenetic.
The core of the track is made by a percussion set playing very fast, the voice (which is actually a pitched sample of the humming at the beginning) and an 808-like bass.
For what concerns the "Break The Rules" theme, the song has several time signature changes (4/4, 6/8 and 13/8 are played), tempo change, a chromatic riff in the 4/4 part, and various key changes (C mixolydian, A# minor, A minor).

not my type of music so 1 on enjoyment. It's kind of repetitive and annoying (not in an offensive way thats not what i mean) at some spots but i dont really understand this type of music so I cant say much... what i mean is some music is repetitive and people still like it its just not for me.
Good mix, nothing crunched.
i gave 5 stars on everything other than enjoyment and depth... this type of music sounds empty to me its just not my thing
Thanks for listening and for the honest feedback. I didn't want it to sound repetitive, but I think I understand your point and there are certain elements that keep repeating too often . But I'm glad the mix is good, that makes me really happy :)
so much rule breaking here! the time signature changes are very seamless. the percussive elements are definitely my favourite, very volcanic!

Really solid track here
Great use of tempo and time signature shifts & percussion that all feel very coherent
I like the pitched up vocal too
808 has a nice clean and weighty tone
The section that begins around 3:20 is probably my favourite but it's also so good because of the way it iterates on what came before it
Thank you so much! I wanted the 3:20 part to be a pretty heavy break from what had been going up until then, so I'm glad it worked :)
What a journey ! Love what you did, track really feels like you're telling a story, lots of surprise.
I especially like the differents rythmic ideas you mixed together, had a kind of a "tribal" vibe, wich is really nice and fits well the theme !
My favorite parts are the intro, the humming is nice and deep, evokes well those monks you wanted. And also the part that starts at 3:00, very energic and frenetic !
The high pitched voice might be a bit over used to my personnal taste, but there's a real effort to keep it variated and interesting through the all piece, so good job !
Very well done !
Thanks a lot! The part at 3:00 is my favourite, so I'm glad you enjoyed :) I get what you mean about the usage of the voice, and I think you're right. At some point I also felt that it was too present and decided to make variations, but the first step should always be to reduce what is too much! I'll try not to forget that!
Oh, another awesome gullo drop!! I really love the switch ups and the percussion is amazing. The breath in and out is so cleannnnn, wow... The way you used the voice throughout the entire song was interesting, especially in the part where everything slows down. Great job on another banger!
Thanks a lot, too kind! :) I'm glad you enjoyed the use of the voice. And I guess I'm good at breathing haha. Thanks again for listening!
Awesome percussion and love the tempo changes
nice intro! and the sound quality is really good :) also sounds well mixed. I like the fast percussion style, it gives the track a push.
Thank you so much. I'm really trying hard to improve my mixing, so it means a lot to me!
