How does your game fit the theme?
The gameplay is very forgiving and friendly (unlike most games in this genre!). I ease the player into the mechanics and spend the first few levels training them! However, the environment is very hostile since you are on the Moon!
Did you use any assets?
Used this free pack for sound effects: https://benjaminno.itch.io/sweet-sounds-sfx-pack. I used pau-tomas plugin pak: https://github.com/pau-tomas/gb-studio-plugins. (I hired an artist for my game art!)

nice physics, gameplay and graphics.
I enjoyed playing it a lot.
Wow, this is a really good Lunar Lander adaptation! Impressive what you achieved in GB Studio without engine ejection. Unfortunately I have to give it a medium rating as it doesn't really fit the jam's crtiteria, but I would play a full version of this!
I liked this very much. Kept playing until the end. Well designed little game. Charming graphics and sounds.
Thank you for taking the time to play it all the way through! Glad you enjoyed the game!
I really like the old fashioned wireframe graphics! The physics are amazingly good, I got to level 4, and it's really hard not to crash with a dork like me :D . Bravo, even if I understand the connection with the theme of the Jam, we would say in French that it's a bit "capillotracté" :p
Thank you haha!! I’m glad you enjoyed the graphics and the gameplay! I love the color you chose for this game on your gameboy! Thank you so much for sharing that!
The "haha" sounds very French, doesn't it? But maybe it's also used in English? But I try my luck, are you French?
I am American, yes used in English too!
I love the arcade game and I love this. Gameplay, graphics, sound; so much fun. I'm afraid I can't give it high marks in every category since it's a remake. But it's very very well done and I'm super pleased that I got to play it. Thanks for throwing this into the mix.
Thanks for the nice feedback!
The asteroids are a nice spin! :D
Thank you!
I'm a big fan of lunar Lander. Love your game!
Im glad to hear that! Thank you for the nice comment!
I definitely see myself playing again well after the Jam
That is wonderful to hear! Thank you
What about friendship theme?
The theme comes from the relationship between the developer and the audience. This is normally a difficult genre but I made the gameplay very forgiving and easy to pick up. But I will leave it to the player’s interpretation!
I feel GB studio can't handle gameplay. Did you develop with basic coding? If there is a rating field called "programming", I would rate 5 stars. Overall it's a fun game. The asthestic hit my spot so I rate it high. I am stuck ar mission 9 so I can't check if there is an ending related to the theme
Thank you for the kind feedback! I appreciate you playing my game!
All I did was change the player's velocity, using the "player fields" plugin, in a simple timer loop. Since I can control the time with the loop and the velocity with the plugin, I am able to easily set the acceleration of the spacecraft! All done without needing to eject the engine code!
I am happy to see you were able to make it to level 9! How quick were you able to get to this point in the game?
I havn't timed
No worries!
This is great information, thanks for sharing!
Good physics. Would have been neat to see a fuel gauge or collectibles or something like that. But definitely a good showing for a game jam.
Thank you for the feedback! Those are very good ideas!
Nice game, I recommend anyone who likes the rocket landing genre to play this, great work. A bit weak on the “friendly” theme though, in my opinion.
Thank you for the feedback!
