How does your game fit the theme?
"Friendly ghost" was the first thing that came to mind when I saw the theme. (Like Casper, but pixellated!)

Did you use any assets?
None other than a couple of default sprites from GBstudio (namely the house, three human NPCs and the sign). All other art, design, music etc was by me.

Great first game!

I enjoyed the game! It has a lot of potential! :)

I found two minor errors
- When you interact with the left torch from the bottom after collecting the fire, the right one lights up.
- After finding and delivering the clover, the dragon said I delivered the Wish.

Thanks for the bug catches! I'll take a look at those.

(The fire is supposed to just light up both of them regardless of which torch you choose, like turning on a light switch, saves interacting with them both. But the second does sound like a bug so I'll fix that) ;P

This is a charming game! It has nice feel-good vibes. I had issues finding the town at first, and didn’t know what to do - maybe a sign post at the crossroads of the park would help.  But once I figured it out I could help Gerry all the way

I really liked the graveyard of ghosts  wish there was more to do there  :)

Thank you very much! I will definately erect a sign or two when the uploads open up again, and maybe make the entrance a bit more obvious. :)

Yes, I should add some more graveyard activities too. I was very happy with the art on that scene, especially since I had to redo it a bunch of times to fit GBstudio's tile limits :D

Not bad for a first use of Gb Studio, especially for music!
We would like to know more about the continuation of the adventures of Gerry, and if he will succeed in knowing more about the world outside the cemetery! In any case on Game Boy DMG, no display problem, bravo !

Thank you! The music gave me a fair bit of trouble actually (it crashed at least once and wiped what I had done).

Very cool to see it on the real system!!! :D

The music remains for me the most complicated too!

this was very charming and i really loved the cave graphics as well as the cow  so much. i was able to reach the ending: there was much more content than i expected!! wonderful job!!

Developer

Thank you so much!

Great to hear you reached the ending~~! (Which option did you choose at the end? There are actually 2 possible endings) :D

no worries!! i chose to stay with the dragon and the cow. it was so sweet to see them all be happy. <3

When playing the game, I was just unable to interact with the pot? I'm guessing that's how you progress but it seems it didn't work for some reason. Even so, Id love to play the full thing if that bug gets patched.

You mean the vase in the girl's house?

You can absolutely interact with it, but only when you've done all the right things. Just keep trying ;)

(And let me know if you need a hint)

Huh. Maybe I need to dive back into the game and see if I did something wrong then.
