Really cool fun distinct game. Loved that small aspect ratio and grungy graphics.
Thank you for your nice words and for playing the game!
I liked this! Very cool, creepy story, and the art is really cool and atmospheric!
Thank you for playing! I’m happy you liked it and enjoyed the game.
Thank you for all your kind words, I really appreciate it!
Yes, I do draw often haha Game design and programming is something new to me, I hope to implement more game play elements in my next games when I get more experience!
I really enjoy your Sokoban and puzzle games, btw!
An interesting way to explore the theme, the amount of interesting detail, when the cactus disappeared took me by surprise. The narrative is good for the game jam period, and the art is very dedicated.
I'm glad you found the little details here and there :D Thank you for playing!
The mystery kept me playing through different endings. I would love to see a whole game world with this tiny but highly detailed art style. Also great job on the "cutscenes". Only two thing that did not fully convince me were the graphics and the automatically starting dialog boxes whenever you got close to one of the objects. Apart from these two things, playing the game was a great experience. Even for someone who usually doesn't like games of this genre.
Hey Thanks for your feedback! I'm so glad that you enjoyed the story, the cut scenes (those took the longest to do haha) and the entire experience overall.
You make a good point about the auto-dialog boxes popping up and I can see how that it might break the immersion. I'd work on fixing that after the voting is over in an update patch!
Thank you for your support and keep a look out for my games in the future! :D
I really enjoyed the graphics in this game. Great stuff
I’m glad! Thank you for playing.
i love interactive fiction, so this was a real treat for me. judging from the screenshots you've included, i've yet to find all the endings but i'm excited to! i like that you took a different approach to the "friendly" theme and went with something spookier; it certainly came across in both the music and art! (and your art is so good!!!)
can't believe this is your first game but i'm looking forward to more of your work!
I appreciate all your kind words! I was getting vibes and ideas from movies (which you can see on the character's TV screens :P) and TV shows like the X files, that I enjoy. I hope you find all the endings! :DThank you for your support.
Great game in a closed space, I love it, a bit of an "evil dead" atmosphere, minus the cabin in the woods :D . I had some text display bugs on the original Game Boy, otherwise your assets and backgrounds are top, bravo ! I think I had a bad ending by going to MY room in the middle of the night haha, but I will do it again with pleasure ;)
Oh cool! You played it on the game boy!
Well Hal did warn you not to go in “no matter what” haha and thanks for the heads up about the display bugs. I will fix it when we can re upload a new version after voting is done
Thank you for playing!
This was awesome: so much content and things to do in such a little space: i am a big fan of this story, and while i did not get every single ending, i really enjoyed all the choices and routes i did do! fantastic job!
edit: sorry about the double comment! something went wrong-
Hey! I’m glad you are a fan of the story! Given our tight timeline, I thought this was the best way to save time by not creating so many game areas.
When we can re-load the game again, I’ll insert an option where players can reload at specific points without restarting from the top - maybe then you can get to all the endings :)
Thank you for playing!
no worries!! i really liked the size of it: added to the potential paranoia a lot! but heck yeah! lemme know and ill def try and get all the endings once i rate all the other games!!
Thank you for jamming!! this was awesome!!
Really liked the multiple endings, great little game :) (i am a big horror fan, so games like this get me :D)
Thank you so much and I appreciate you taking the time to play it. I'm so glad you enjoyed it.
