Thank YOU for playing! We hope to update the game in the not-so-distant future! <3

Thanks so much! This is one that's been brewing for a while and I'm looking forward to giving these characters some more life in the future!

That's so cool! I'm glad we could bring the colours of autumn to you! Thanks for playing!

Thanks for hosting! It was great to focus on maximizing detail within the tile limits. Always a good time!

Much appreciated, brother! <3

Thanks so much! I had a blast making it! :D

Haha! That's a fantastic idea. Thanks for playing and commenting! We've been working on expanding lots more in the meantime.

That's amazing, dude! Thanks so much for the kind words!!! We really enjoyed working on this together and I'm sure there will be more of this character for sure ;)

Haha! So glad you liked it! Thanks so much for playing and commenting <3

Thanks so much!

Fun but punishing platformer! The hard to see hazards made it a challenging but rewarding run. I definitely opted for the checkpoints, but unlocking everything after hell was super helpful and reduced overall death rate XD

Nice work!

I definitely fell for the bad ending at first, then had lots of fun hopping around everything like a little pacifist!

Solid entry! Love the colours, the sprites, and that screenwipe!!! I'm also curious how you've done that :)

Four hours?! Well, considering your own self-imposed time frame, this is pretty impressive!

Really cool (and scary) concept!

Congrats on your first finished game!

I definitely enjoyed playing this one, and experienced the same red room turret problem, but got by after starting a new game. I thought the music fit really well and I especially liked the different colour dialogue box and sprite colour for each character!

There's one camera shake right at the end that created some spill over and lasted the last few scenes to the beginning. I think a simple wait function after would solve this.

Solid entry! I'll keep eyes peeled for future works!

Quirky music and characters!

I wasn't sure how to clear that platformer scene, I just kept dying. I thought maybe I could use my rubber chicken XD but alas, I could not.

Very intriguing and ambitious game for 7 days!

I might be echoing some previously made statements but I did feel a bit overwhelmed at the onset. The amount of things to remember became a bit daunting when I looked at your page for info, but it is an impressive entry nonetheless!

I found this game to be so charming! Very punny and quirky characters which I appreciated XD and solid choice of palettes! Looks great!
Lovely entry!

Aha! I look forward to it!

Such adorable characters, and a cute adventure! I especially love Coal and Tiny ^-^

Simple but fun, and I'm definitely looking forward to seeing what Tiny might be dreaming of in a future update!

Lovely entry!

P.S.

I'd love to see in full colour, too! Everything still looks great with the default palettes, but I had a little laugh when I found this! XD

Lovely characters and graphics! I love that super smooth animation of Box Bot and the atmosphere is really charming! Some stretches of path felt a bit arduous to cross back and forth and some bits of collision were difficult to navigate.

But overall, I really enjoyed playing and I'll have to revisit this after the jam, as I just couldn't make it south and back again without dying. (I found the enemy's attacks hard to predict and my rng seemed really bad XD I had so many encounters)

Great entry!

Really enjoyed this one! Cool to see a suspenseful game like this be paired with the friendly theme but it works! Nice mechanics and as always great sprite and tile work!

I'm pleased with getting ending A. That doggy sprite is so adorable!

Considering the name, I was expecting to die a lot more XD but I did enjoy the playthrough and the characters!

I think the fishing bit was my fave. Nice way of integrating a different scene style to change things up! Nice entry overall!

I really enjoyed the first Capy section and the different scene styles was a cool touch to highlight each character. Cute sprites and fun little game!

Really cool entry! The timing was synced perfectly with the music which was boppin'!

I appreciated the little player animation too! That little stretch went a long way in making it feel responsive. Great job!

Haha! How can you not love a pink elephant? XD

I made that sprite and the falcon especially for RABBITKING's kiddies :D because they're awesome!

Thanks so much for playing!

Great comment! Thanks so much for the kind words!

I'm so happy to hear that the credit screen was appreciated. I wanted it to stand out and I did a similar thing in my last game jam game and people seemed to like that sort of interactive credits!

Thanks for playing!!!

Thanks so much! Glad to hear it passed the "arcade" vibes check! That was a first for me in GB Studio, and I know I could make it even better with a bit more time.

Thanks for playing!

Much appreciated! Thanks for playing:D

Thanks very much! I'm pretty pleased with how those mechanics turned out. Glad to hear they were enjoyable. Thanks for playing!

Thanks for the lovely comment! Very glad you enjoyed the game!

The passengers are not supposed to show up when picked up (this was a design decision to put a cabin in the back to imply the passenger is in there XD otherwise we would have had to make 10 separate unique spritesheets) but maybe we'll look into this for an update after the jam!

Much appreciated! Glad you enjoyed it too!

Thanks for playing, and for the kind words!

Thanks so much for the lovely comment, and for the follows! Right back at you! I could have sworn I was following you too XD

Fixing that right now!

Thanks for playing!

Thanks for the great feedback! I'll admit the point system could use a lot of work. It was my first time trying to implement something like that, so lots of room to improve! Itbwas a case of "it works - good enough!" XD

We'll take this into account when we go back to the drawing board!

Definitely enjoyed this one!

The speed of the player and battle mechanics felt really nice and all of the sprites were super cute or derpy! XD

I also experienced the out-of-bounds glitch after totally SLAYING with Tad XD but it was right at the end of a very enjoyable playthrough!

*And I'm not sure if it was a glitch or intentional, but I didn't encounter any enemies in the 3rd level.

Regardless of those, really great entry!

Will play again as other characters after the jam!

I really enjoyed how the pieces all came together and the integration of the gb camera shots was really cool.

I did run into a little bug where after learning (2) songs and returning to the starting area, the text "I don't know any songs yet." still appears every time you sing.

Great entry!

It's clear that writing is your strong suit! I did make it pretty far, but I couldn't figure out what to do after talking with the two scientists...

Perhaps a little more guidance from the characters would be beneficial.

The interaction with the dog was my favourite!

It may be simple but I found it really effective and fun! The different layout every screen lends to lots of replay value! I think I got to 138 and could definitely have kept playing if it weren't for the dozens of other games I still need to play!

Great job!

I really like the movable partner that also acts as a jumping pad! Pretty fun mechanic! At one point I accidentally dropped plushie mid-air (should have taken a screenshot) but I did manage to pick him back up! XD

Great entry!

Your intro art is fantastic! I love the simplicity of the mechanics and how you kept the scope small to fit in the jam!

I fed all the pizza to the turtle shell and it appeared happy XD Not sure if there was more to that or not, but nice work all around!

Very charming and adorable game! I love the sprites and palette choices! They really give each shop and character even more personality!

Music and graphics are super fitting too!

Great job!!!
