Very polished game. Plays perfectly in browser. Mario clone is a cliche in itself ... but super well executed and fun to play.

Super mario clone but with a crazy work on graphics, gameplay is basically the same so it works, theme interpretation well, on point. Not really innovative for obvious reasons, but good work overall!
Innovation in a platformer which is highly inspired by super mario is hard. I tried to work some Mechanik s into the game which differ from SuperMario (like the Ice, the double jump.) but thank you for Playing!

Thanks for playing and keep me focused on the nice words from everyone else! This game has the biggest inpact of all my games so far and I am so happy how it turned out!
This is just Mario bros so... not really that cool? Also does have to do anything with the jam.
First off, contgrats at making a very complete game! I had a good time playing through the whole thing, most everything fits together quite nicely. A couple things I can critique:
* I'd have loved to play with my controller's D-pad instead of joystick
* Some pipes didn't work for me with controller (had to use the keyboard to go into left and down pipes
* You can think you found a secret at the end of pipe pond and walk all the way to the beginning of the level on accident (with no way back!)
* Try to avoid "mixels", or art with different sized pixels. Some of the art was a little distracting to me as I could tell the pixel scales were completely different with certain assets (like the spike balls)
Otherwise, this is a great entry that you should be proud of!
Since I use the Standart Input system it was quite hard to setup the controller.
The water level has a view issues, I should have made two levels out of the one and yes there could have been some ice blocks to jump back up from the start to the secret wrong way xD
The spike balls where scaled down because of the sice to avoid them better, nothing else xD ( sorry can t hear the word mixels an, more)
The Pipe issue could be because of the 0y an 1x input requirement, if you held the joystick slightly up or down its not 0y so would be stuck yes, sorry for that, I seriously, didn t think about that issue at all.
