I like the idea and theme, music works well, visuals are ok, pretty simple but could be improved quite easily, the levels seem very hard though, maybe I just suck a lot but it felt like every level had one if not more areas where you needed to take a hit in order to pass through, was that really the case or do I just suck the much xD.

Overall nice entry, maybe some tweaks to the difficulty but very complete otherwise, good work!

Not sure what's going on, but it looks like the controls don't work 😢 At least on my machine, they seem to be stuck for the first minute and then behave very, uhm, chunky, effectively making it impossible to play. It's a pity, 'cause the game looks pretty awesome basing on the screenshots, so I'd love to play it!

The bug where the controls don't work was also experienced by some of our playtesters, but I wasn't able to figure out a fix before the deadline. The two possible solutions are to either try running the game on a different computer (may still not work) or directly downloading the source code from Github, opening it in the godot engine, and then running the game.

I couldn't figured out the controls, awsd didn't seem to work? some instructions would be cool!

The very same bug was experienced by some of the playtesters of this game, where the movement controls don't work. I was unable to discover the fix for the bug, as the controls would work fine when played by other playtesters on different computers (but the same operating system). The two possible solutions I can think of right now is try running the game on a different computer or, if you have the godot engine, you could directly download the source code from Github (I believe it should work), import it into the editor, and press f5. Hopefully that helps!

The graphics are simple, intuitive and nice but the time stopping function is not quite easy to understand.

Thanks for the feedback!

a good challenging game, could use some VFX to make it even better, even if it's still good <3

Thank you!

Nice work! Loved the theme interpretation and integration into gameplay, as well as the core mechanic and how everything damages the timer. I suck at dodging games so I didn't get to the end of any level but the time stop cooldown kept throwing me off - kept wanting there not to be one (which could make it feel more fluid being able to move through levels without waiting), or at least a visual (other than the small text in the corner) or audio indicator for when you could use it again. Otherwise really like what you've got going!

Thank you for the feedback! The original intention of the timestop cooldown mechanic was to prevent the player from being able to reset the exponential loss of your time while time stopping by simply letting go of the space key for a few milliseconds. I'll try to remember to add more audio/visual cues when an important mechanic is off-cooldown in the next game I make.
