Ah a fellow game with spells! I enjoyed this! The variety of powers (incl raising the dead) was satisfying to use. I found it easier to play using the tab function so I'm glad you added that. The graphics suited the game and gave it a mystical feel. Nice work!

Congrats on the game! I really like the art style.

It reminded  me diablo but we were the evil  shaman now : )

Game was refreshing but I did not find it challenging much even though I could not finish it.  Yes it sounds weird but most of it was just carelessness and there is no mechanic to heal back up.

I am very glad you put the "Tab" view. I learned it very late but that is indeed very needed.

I found theme integration weak. You can say player "scales up" their army but at least also write it in itchio page.

I would prefer and suggest everyone this game over  paying 15 dollars to Diablo® III: Rise of the Necromancer just to raise some skeletons.

Good suggestion, we'll add the "scale" explanation to our page! We're glad you enjoyed it :)

I got captivated by the picture of your game, from the first time I saw it I knew what art-style it was going to be hehehe 😄

The game's atmosphere is quite good, I like how everything is black and white except the player and the abilities, and the graphics remind me of those of the PSX in a really good way, you nailed making a classic feeling game, congratulations! 😁

The gameplay aspect is a little bit more lacking, as it lacks depth in the combat mechanics. I understand that this is a jam project, but I'd have used more development time toward the battle mechanics. Also, I'd make some more visual indications when damaging an enemy, as right now I felt they were damage sponges.

Other than that, the setting is interesting and the game has charm to it, keep working on it! 😃

Thanks for trying it out! Yeah we spend some time in the optimization process and improving fps, and ended up sacrificing the scale theme a bit by setting a threshold for the size of the army so we didn't end up fleshing out more possible battle mechanics and polishing more the balance aspect but I think it's still pretty fun commanding your army xD

And yes we were aiming for a PSX look and feel! Glad you appreciated!

Hey!

So I had some fun playing your game (which is the most important thing!)

Maybe it's just me, but sometimes I shooted skills next to enemies, but it's the only thing I've seen

Overall, it's very cool, and I like the atmosphere. Good job :)

Glad you liked. I'm not sure I understood what you meant with the shooting part. If you can provide more feedback back we'll gladly receive it.

Oh sorry! I'll try to be more clear :)

Sometimes, it was hard to aim properly at an enemy. I aimed in his direction but the projectile passed right next to him (even if my mouse was at enemy's position).

Developer(+1)

You are right, at least in the regular camera mode we noticed in the final testing phase it is quite hard sometimes to aim and that could be improved. Our feedback says it is easier with the zoom-in mode [TAB] where you have an up perspective.
