Simple concept with great execution. I think you made great design choices that worked for your game. Your character selection has a very Brotato feel to it, which is a compliment. I don't know why, but the creepy eyes on the ground really did it for me.
And not knowing when the route changes. How many times did I think: There is a treasure, no, I clicked too fast and now it is gone.
I think the only feedback is going to be the small edge cases. Several times my character was not visible and I think those are the outer roads. The other thing is when you die, there is no hint. The first three times I thought my game froze.
Fun game, good job and good luck.
This is a very very interesting concept! It is very innovative. I like the artstyle a lot, especially the tiles for examples. I did end up moving off the map at some point but I was able to go back. This must have been a lot of work to do, good job! I love the eerie vibe to the game, though I do think some more audible sound effects when you step on a trap or pick up the sacrifice would be nice. Nice that there is also multiple characters to play, though I did just spam the doctor hehe
I did notice in level 3 my items disappeared after I bought them, which was weird. Not sure what happened there.
Keep up the good work!
This game was very disorienting in the best possible way. Although I think there are some edge cases where it breaks down. I ended up moving off the map by accident lol.
Absolutely fantastic. Reminds me of that crazy AI minecraft game that was making the rounds a month ago. I really like this premise, it was a fun and alien way to interact with a map that really changes how you think about the structure of levels. I also dug the artwork, reminded me of the old DnD map style. I think the floor effects could be a little more noticeable, I feel like I wasn't sure anything was happening when I passed certain floor tiles or not. The sound was nice but I would have enjoyed a little more meat behind it. Overall a great premise and a really fun game.
This is a super cool trip of a dungeon crawler. The shifting maze is a super cool twist I haven't felt anything quite like before.
