Thanks for the feedback, Yeah! I want to add the music after the jam! Did not had any more time left.

Do you know which enemy it was? Would be great to know for debugging. Did not had that bug before!

Just rated your game! And thanks for your message about how to make a web build in Godot!

As of today, the game now has a web/browser build. So you can play it too.

Thank you so much! I had some time tonight so I checked it out and now it's in my browser. So great to see how easy it is.

I was already preparing my code for a mobile option. And I just played a full mobile game through the browser. So happy with this.

What a fun concept and great to incorporate secrets and time challenges into the game. I liked the little story and especially the overlapping worlds. It's implemented simply, but very well.

Your art was AI generated and that was visible. Not that I mind that it's AI because of the time constraints and not everyone is an artist, but that you really saw the imperfections in some of the eyes.

My other feedback is about the controls. They feel weird and the acceleration feels uneven. On the other hand, it added another dimension to learning the controls. There is a jump in the first ghost where I got stuck, but when I got the triple jump there, it felt great.  Good job, keep it up.

Thanks for all the messages and games! This weekend my plans were a bit different, so I did not play much. Keep them posted as I want to review/rate them all.

Don't get me wrong. I enjoyed your game. Great job!

Your game surprised me in a good way. I rated it and recommend it to everyone.

I have rated your game. Great polished game.

I don't know if it's still possible and allowed to upload a web version of the game since the deadline has already passed. Do not even know how I would do that in Godot.

Maybe I can check it out this weekend. Good luck with your reviews.

Loved the game and your attention to detail. Felt as an ode to a lot of other games, in a good way. Also loved that from the first jump, you knew right way what kind of game it was, a hard one :-).

In the black and white (starting) world, I did not know what I was dying. When it was color, I found out. It were spikes. I did not see them very well. Also, I did not know the heart counter at the top was counting, was a bit unclear. Some very minor things because this is a good, polished game.

Such a crazy and ambitious game in such a short time. Don't worry about user-generated content. You already have an awesome ramp and I think it will get bigger and bigger this month.

I have rated your game! Very nice concept

Thank you for your kind compliments. Haha binary search to win!  Good to know, in a future update I know what to counter haha.

Thank you for your feedback. Can you tell me exactly what you mean by the sentence below? Thanks in advance.

Preferences add a layer of strategy to this game, as halving, mathematically,  would be the most efficient way to go.

It's hard for me to give a review about it. Your ambition is very high, and I think in general you have been very successful. It is a risk to make a game like this, but the creators have already made some great things, including the ramp.

They also have fun easter eggs but go on the swing etc.

The reason why I found it hard was because I had a lot of graphical glitches and I had to restart the game three times before the sensitivity of my mouse was correct.

Keep up the good work. Really creative game you have made.

I really liked that. The atmosphere is amazing, it's a small story you tell and even though I knew quickly what happened, I still wanted to know how it ended. I felt like a psychopath still doing these things on autopilot.

Great game. Only thing is what other people already said. Loved for the font or the whole list to be bigger.

Simple concept with great execution. I think you made great design choices that worked for your game. Your character selection has a very Brotato feel to it, which is a compliment. I don't know why, but the creepy eyes on the ground really did it for me.

And not knowing when the route changes. How many times did I think: There is a treasure, no, I clicked too fast and now it is gone.

I think the only feedback is going to be the small edge cases. Several times my character was not visible and I think those are the outer roads. The other thing is when you die, there is no hint. The first three times I thought my game froze.

Fun game, good job and good luck.

Played and finished your game. Very nice concept and loved the procegeral levels.

Great game! I had a lot of fun! Especially loved the proceral generated levels.

I saw them a lot because in the beginning I just kept dying. Can be tough from the start. I also think the screen flash from the coin grab can be a bit distracting.

I thought I had chosen my name, but in the high score I was PlayerOne. I clicked on my highscore screen to get away quickly because I was being chased. Around 78 - 80. Found the secret level with the goodies.

(1 edit)

I noticed how happy I was when I saw that someone rated my game. I am going to play some games tonight and tomorrow and if you want me to play your game, share it here. I will rate them.

And if you have time, you can always play and rate my own game.

My game

The 500 Numbers Game is a strategic guessing tournament where players compete by using their knowledge of each other's secret strategies to guess numbers. Can you outsmart your opponents and claim the throne with the fewest attempts? An easy but simple game and I'm very proud of it as a first time developer.

9/12: As of today, the game now has a web build. So play it in your browser if you have time.

Thanks! Had a blast with your game too. Great work!

Thanks man! I've rated your game as well! Enjoyed it a lot

Short but sweet game! The audio is very nice and I love the customization options for this game. Not only with the ships but also with the laser. Great style and sense of direction.

I have small technical issues with the window on my monitor and I could not figure out how to select the lasers for some time. It would have been great if the enemies had a little more variety and if I could see my high score. I know it was 18048 something, but it quickly disappeared from my screen.

Keep up the good work and good luck with this game jam.

Thanks for the feedback! I think one of my biggest regrets is that I did not have enough time to finish the audio. I had the audio tracks ready, but in the end I did not have enough time to implement them.

And I also love TheGoat and that he became the new ruler of the 500 number throne in your playthrough.

Your game has a great atmosphere and was fun to play. I never knew what to expect and where the story/game was going. And I'm always happy to find a cat somewhere in a game.

Great audio design and overall creepy/scary.

My biggest feedback will be the difficulty of the mini-games and personally the first mini-game. I almost gave up after the 10th time. Maybe it's a skill issue or maybe not. The most disorienting/confusing thing was that your hand/mouse moved with the camera while you were moving and dodging. On the other hand, I felt a great sense of accomplishment when I finally did it. Keep up the good work.

I will rate it tomorrow after work.  Just like other in the form, you are on my list.

Here is my game
