Game description
You are assigned to look through the letters to find a place where people have been dissappearing to!

Theme interpretation
The whole idea of a game is to find a correct location, to reveal the secret.
Furthermore the player gets to know about secrets of some people in town by reading their letters.
There are also a "secret" phone call available and an additional "ending" that you can get.

Really fun game and I loved the writing! I also really liked the addition of the creation's letters, it felt eerie to keep getting them as it felt almost like a lost child at the start

I loved this game so much. Each character's writing is unique and each of their personalities and quirks immediately immersed me and made me want to play the game through till completion.

The character's unique writing styles also work fantastically to distinguish them from one another which makes the gameplay function of spotting the fakes work well.

I thoroughly enjoyed the art style and the bad ending gave me a genuine jumpscare due to the art and sound working so well together!

Regarding constructive criticism, it would be great to see a button to start the game on specific days or restart the game from Day 8 if you get a bad ending. I spent a long time skipping through the 8 days several times because I kept getting the bad ending and desperately wanted to know who the kidnapper was and the location! Unfortunately, I ended up having to give up because the skipping got tiresome.

It would also be nice to have a sticky note on the desk somewhere with the Boss's number as I wanted to phone him on Day 1 to see if there was extra dialogue but completely forgot the number he said during the first phone call.

I also encountered two gameplay bugs. 1 where the 14th and 11th map locations didn't allow me to use the sticky note or trash button when I was playing in full-screen mode (from a browser). The other issue I encountered was that if I wrote too much in the notebook and text went off the end of the page, that text was gone if I tried to backspace to get it back.

I'd also love to still be able to see each map location number once I place a sticky note on it. The sticky note currently blocks a lot of the numbers which made it difficult to figure out what the location was without deleting my note.

Overall, an extremely well-thought-through game that I honestly would have been happy to purchase and play on Steam for £5-£10. I hope you decide to update it in the future to perhaps make re-doing the ending easier as I would love to replay and finally get the good ending! :)

Wow! Thank you for such a detailed and long comment! It was really nice to read your feedback.  I'm very glad you liked game!
I apologize for some bugs that you found. Thank you for pointing them out!
About the correct answer: It looks like you really made a lot of attempts to find the right answer. If you want, I could somehow inform you about the correct answer not in the comments (so that no one could spy on the correct answer)

Nice game! I love art and visuals, and writing is solid. It’s a little bit long for a game jam I think, but overall great game!

I'm obsessed with ducky pig!

Love this style of game and think the idea is there, but it was a little cumbersome to play. I think it would be nice to have the notebook of people info and maybe the map as a button that stays in the same place, or just something more easily accessible. It made it hard to keep track of my thoughts and things when I had to scroll over to the book.

Nice game! It was quite long (for a jam game) but kept me interested all the way to the end :)

I would add a keybind (tab, escape, right-click?) as a shortcut for the "Back" button, on a large screen this was a bit annoying - also the ducks take a lot of space!
