Great start! I like the sound design

I couldn't seem to get it to work in browser (tried multiple). Or maybe I just don't understand the controls?

Interesting idea! I feel like I could just play this with ChatGPT or similar, though. I wonder how you could incorporate other graphical elements to differentiate it more. It's definitely an area with a lot of potential!

Love the graphics and the sound. I'm not a big fan of platformers TBH but the presentation impressed me.

Wow, my favourite game so far. The presentation is polished (love the overall aesthetic and subtle animations) and the story is intriguing. The stats mechanic is also interesting. Well done!

I used Phaser as well. Impressed that you recorded your own sounds — nice work! I agree with another commenter that music would be nice. I also didn't realize at first that I was getting damaged... maybe the animation and sound could be a little more obvious.

I like the theme and the double jumping. Well done!

We had planned to include more genres but ran out of time. Hoping to add more in later.

Thanks for the feedback! My daughter wrote most of the story — glad you like it :)

Thanks for playing! I'll add WASD after the voting period — thanks for the suggestion!

Beautiful graphics and I love the desk concept! Well done all around

Indie is the best!

Great idea and execution! My only gripe is that the embedded web game had very glitchy graphics on my Chrome but it worked better in Safari. (Probably not your bug!)

I like the cat theme and the intro "cinematic". Nice job!

The robots kept catching me, alas. At one point one was crawling the walls after it detected me... guessing that's not quite intended? (but then again, they're aliens...)

Cool idea! Do you suppose it would still be fun if you automated parts of it? For example, after choosing the right key you click the letters to decode them or something?

Nice work! Our submissions have similar mechanics in some ways (flipping between "views" of the level)

My daughter and I teamed up for our game. This is also our first game jam. Would love feedback!

The Gameboy lives on! Nice work with the game. I should watch the movie FGT again...

Great story! I didn't know about RenPy before but it looks like a solid engine. Nice work!

You can, in fact! Try to LOOK around and notice the emphasized words.

Thanks for playing! We had plans to add other animals and genres in but ran out of time. I like the idea of adding something to help you remember where you've been.

Thanks for playing! We tried to highlight important keywords in the text for areas like the spikes, but maybe it still wasn't clear enough.

Kudos for trying something different with a programming game! I found the tutorial and search helpful.

Bit of feedback: I found the syntax kind of obtuse... maybe you could simplify it a little? You know your target audience best, of course.

Great deckbuilder! Very polished graphics and gameplay. Well done!

Love the graphics — very polished. Wow, I'm bad at these kind of games!

Interesting mechanic! I found the beginning too tough. Resolution was also too high for my laptop.

Love the art and the story!
Minor nitpick: At first I was confused by seeing multiple moms — one on the dialog box, one in the game. They're maybe a little too similar in size?

Fun idea! Cubes are pretty bad, but I think pyramids are even more secretive

Great atmosphere! I would like to move faster, too.

Interesting concept! I made it to level 6

Cool project! I like the art style and music.

Somehow, the first time I played I didn't know what to do because I turned left at the beginning. Eventually figured it out.
