I loved the idea of two parallel realities existing simultaneously. The visuals are amazing and really create an atmosphere.
I hope you will add more content!
I liked the unique idea of the main character having a dual identity. It is fun! The pixel art style is appealing and works well with the limited color palette. The music fits the atmosphere and makes the game more enjoyable.
However, the controls could be improved. I experienced some difficulties with hitting enemies and moving the player smoothly.
Overall, it’s a good entry for a game jam, and I’m excited to see improvements in future updates.
The game has a cool concept of duality, showing how two different approaches are needed to progress. The graphics are a mix of styles, which can be improved for consistency. The music changes with each character, that’s great!
It’s a solid entry for a game jam with potential for further development.
Thank you for understanding. Unfortunately, we can’t finish the game as we had hoped. The plan was to have puzzles that each character could solve in their way (two views), but we ran into some problems and couldn’t make it happen on time.
We are working on fixing issues and improving the game. We will also add missing content, including dialogues, text, and voiceovers.
I absolutely love it! The cutscene is both fun and creative, with a well-paced story that features a fantastic twist at the end. The villain’s animations, particularly the watch-checking, are a nice touch. The 8-bit art style and music fit perfectly, evoking a nostalgic feel. It instantly reminded me of the Prince of Persia.
I am a slow reader in this case. I would need a little bit slower speed for dialog speed. The dialogs were nicely written. In a short time you put a lot of development and story into a cutscene.
More time would suit this well.
For art - I love the visuals, nice art for characters and background. Also the sound of the air fits to the visuals, which I appreciate.
I’m sorry, but I have no idea how to play this game. I tried several times, but still no luck. Maybe a better tutorial or some highlights could help. Also, I had a little issue with the resolution—I have a 1080p screen, and it seems to be not enough.
It’s a pretty good start for your first game. I like the art and style.
