Cool game. Great graphics and audio! As other also mentioned, it was sometime hard to hit the enemies, but this bothered me that much, as it felt, that this is part of the game. I like the mechanic that you can hit the shots from the enemies!

Pixel graphics are done well and sound/music compliments the game well. I liked the idea but I found it really hard to hit enemies (they moved too quickly as I was attacking). That led to me wasting way too many attacks and having to constantly pick up ammo; combined with the fact they took a lot of damage it got old pretty quickly.

I think with some tweaking and adding in some variety, as others have mentioned, you have a solid game.

I agree with the others, speed, variety, health, etc. But I would also add, that the combat system is a bit off. The attack animation is slow and hard to aim. I was running in circles for awhile to end up in a good angle just to get hit and pushed way too far back by a projectile. It's funny how the knockback is the fastest way to traverse the map. I liked that the enemies could also hit each other, but initially I expected a free for all arena battle. Good music, cute graphics, and clever story. Afterall, I had fun in the beginning, but didn't want to start over the whole thing just because of a bug.

At least I'm invincible now.

From that screenshot it looks like you're on the second last level! Sorry! :( I think you only way for me to fix that bug is to reduce the knockback acceleration which, as you pointed out, is the fastest way to travel. :P

I really like music and sounds. Characters looks charming and have nice animations. I missed some variety of level designs and it felt like I would have liked to move a little faster. It was fun to play, great game :)

Thank you! I was trying to get a Mega Drive/Genesis sort of feel with the music and sounds - I hope that came across. Sadly, variety in level design was something I just didn't manage to get in.

Fun game, kept me entertained for a few levels. Maybe if the character had a dash ability it would help with the weakest part of player engagement, having to run around and collect energy.

Dash would be good. This was a rather improvised exploration into new thinking for me so it's definitely not as refined as it could be!

I liked  the main music and all the sounds  and it was fun to play :)

It'd be cool if I can see enemies healthbars . Also it'd be more interesting if the layout of the arena changes  from level to level and some power-up collectables arise now and then.

Great graphics and sound, it really fits the theme. I like the crt look and the way the guy's eyes glow before he attacks. The only thing I would change would be lower everyone's health so it has a quicker turn around time but I did find that I could do more damage as I got better so maybe having a low health first guy would help people learn.

Thank you  :) I'd debated lower the health and I never came to a final decision so it didn't change. It was originally meant to be a 1v1 so the opponents were meant to be on par with you.
