Nice work and congrats to your first game! For me using "W" instead of "SPACE" for the flying would have felt more naturally.

For a first game this is pretty good. It was a little hard to keep the character in the air especially if he was in free fall. Artwork is a little mismatched too, but a little bit of movement tweaking and add some more waves/enemies/levels etc. and you've got a full experience! You should be proud of it, nice submission.

Well done! This is a surprisingly well-made first game. Keep it up! First I though hitting quickly flying bats will be hard with these balls mid-flight but it turned out way better than I expected. The theme is a bit off for me. Small attack drones, instead of bats, or something like that would have been a better choice I think. And the props on the map aren't too futuristic as well. I can't really imagine what hazards can be so deadly for a murder bot like this, but if you share some ideas I will be happy to find some fitting artwork for it. Anyways, the audio was a good choice.

Yeah you're right, i didnt hit the theme very well^^. I collected most of the assets and then read the Theme-Announcement. To hit the theme just a bit i created the little Robot in blender but i did not had the time to replace all the assets i collected so far.
I think i will push a patch that works better with the theme and some of the feedback i got.
Your Drone idea is very good, why tf would i think of Electro-Sucking Bats? :D

Don't get me wrong! The electro-sucking bat is a cool idea, but for that, you have to nail the artwork. A regular-looking bat won't do the job.
On the other hand, a robot that kills harmless-looking bats. Maybe this time the player could be the baddie. A big, bad robot that terrorizes the innocent wild-life and every living creature.
Yeah u got a point. Honestly its hard for me to find the right Artwork since iam very bad at creating something myself. (Or it just takes ages)^^
Were u participating in a team or solo as well?
Solo, but I used some tested souces for art and music which was almost as useful as to have a teammate or two.
I god rid of 20 bats in 85s.

Congrats on your first game ^^! Flying feel quite good and there was an appropriate number of bats to shoot. Game works well and was pretty fun to play it. Sound effect of red orb was very loud comparing other sounds. The graphics included several different styles, so game looks little unpolished and incoheret. Robot looks cute :) Nice first game overall!

The Robot is actually one of the things i designed by myself :)
Yus I slew 20/20 Bats in a mere 66.39375 seconds (Very accurate timing). Oh man, this game is a lot easier once you realise you can fly lol. I thought I was a very limited life robot. The flying has a really nice weight to it and the bats coming out of the land is cool.
As a tip on your credits screen make a way to get back to the main page easily like onClick
