Wow this really amazed me. The lazers, the music, the synchronization. This game really gets you into a flow! Super nicely done. I really like the level editor as well, it is a nice touch and lets you choose your own pace, because the game goes from 'tutorial' to 'next level' really quickly :D

Fun little game. I love that you can save and publish your own levels. The theme is well incorporated, and I like how the music is in sync with the flashes and the lasers. It looks like most of the work was put into the level editor (not a bad thing).
I think the laser beams are intended to come from above, and hit the flashing tiles? I’m not sure, but it looks like the lasers are flashing over tiles they shouldn’t and that kind of messes up the gameplay. I wasn’t sure sure if I got hit or not. Maybe burning tiles would read better? I don’t know :P
I think you have done a good job on this game entry, and I know myself that most of the time during this jam was probably figuring out how to work with NEAR and IPFS. Good work.
Very cool idea! I really like that you even added a level editor and the possibility to upload levels through decentralized technology (even if I could not test it and have no clue about it :D). The whole game mechanic is not really my cup of tea, as you cannot react to the lasers, it comes down to learning the pattern by heart. If this is how the game should work, it is absolutely fine, but maybe just not for me :).
Played this on stream. Check out the vod here for my thoughts. https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1004089613?t=00h11m58s
This is really cool! The laser tune is in sync with the music. You should add Try Play this Level button in the Level Editor.
Simple concept but funnily challenging. The tutorial tune is so uplifting!
The level sharing is a smart use of decentralized technology. I assume the JSON data is stored on IPFS, but what is NEAR used for?
Also, consider adding the level editor instructions into the editor screen for quicker reference.
Good point on the level editor instructions. I realized too late that I needed instructions somewhere, so I ended up putting them in the page description.
IPFS stores the level data files and audio files, but to download them, you need their CID, which is like an address for where they're stored, and that's what NEAR is used for, to let people publish these "addresses" for others to use to download the files they point to.
