This looks absolutely wonderful! I can't wait to try out one of these stories this weekend. Quest is great for getting started with this hobby, both as player and Guide. It's great to have some well thought-out stories to get started with. But too bad there aren't that many 'official' starter adventures. Thanks for this!

Thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed the concept :D

Thanks! Glad you liked it, sorry I couldn't get to your entry on time

Thanks! we liked there to be a little bit of a learning curve, but also for it to be doable within the time period people spend on jam games :D

Thanks!  I'm glad you liked it so much!  Sorry I didn't get to your game in time...

Thanks for the feedback! Haha! the "sea" was meant to be a swimming pool, and the math notebook are supposed to be tiles :D

Getting up would be cool indeed, allowing you to jump out of the water, maybe some surface bonusses to find there, but we weren't able to get to that within te time sadly.

Thanks man! Yeah those are great ideas! once you know the best way to dive for a given platform, you kinda know the timings indeed. we thought about adding randomness or something, but that would also feel annoying. but some more strategy could definitely work

I'm glad you liked it! thanks! yeah, especially when you are fast it is mostly luck... there also was something quite unintuitive by controlling the angle rather than the position, but we liked that there was some learning curve to get better. But yeah some more progression could be nice indeed. thanks for the feedback!

Thanks for the feedback I'm happy you liked it! now diving straight is encouraged by a significant speed boost compared to landing not straight. and yeah, a manual restart would have been a great addition in hindsight. thanks!

Thanks! Sadly we didn't make that ourselves, but we did pick it ourselves :D

Did you manage to unlock new platforms in the shop? And you can control the player using your arrow keys :)

THanks!

fun mechanic, I've been seeing these root games more and more but I really like that mechanic. Without new challenges or things to find when you go deeper, it becomes a bit of the same after a while, but nicely done!

The classes are nice, made me start again to see how to other classes would feel. Default sensitivity was a bit much and I couldn't try out the sensitivity slider without restarting to make changes. Also some lag spikes were a little annoying but overall, nicely done!

got to 17k! really engaging, I love the mechanic of the little upgrades every time. But they got less frequent pretty quickly. Wouldn't have minded some more chances, and more different types of upgrades

Very cute game, nice style. controls were immediately obvious to me

Look at me I'm a cute lil worm! I tried to eat some ants but couldn't :( Got some textures glitching it seemed, and the invisible boundaries were a bit sad, but love the mechanic!

Lovely mini-game, Elegant pixel art. Could definitely be made into something nice, given some more indicators & challenges

What an adorable potato! I want him as a pet. But fun little game, love the mashed potatoes, had a fun time trying to go super speed

I reaaaaly wanted this to work well because it is a fun concept! But It was really hard to control, sometimes I had to restart entirely because I couldn't go back to the building menu, there is little control over the vessel or explenation or what each component does. But I love this genre.

cute lil orca! But everything was going way to quickly. There was no introduction or entry levels to get used to everything. Really tricky but a creative idea!

I'm happy you had a good time!

that's quite engaging! it was immediately obvious to me what to do, and it became more and more challenging. Maybe some wildcard neurons, or making circles could be other fun additions :)

real nice game. I played for longer than I would have expected. made it until around diamond or so. it is surprisingly addictive!

Adorable little game! straight forward mechanics and controls, I like that!

adorable little bird! I really like the style of the game. Speed of the bird and stamina is a bit low, compared to the speed of falling objects, but I liked it!

thanks!

Thanks! there are collectibles you can collect that give you a speed boost :D

really unique! but the controls where hard, it took me a long time to figure stuff out

Hah! woops my bad, there should have been more explaining indeed. I'm happy you enjoyed it! thanks!

whoa I had a lo of fun playing this! nice progression,I love this genre. It took me a while to realize i could look down. felt like I unlocked entirely new game :D

It was after I slept and didn't make the assignment, then declined the magic powder and didn't go to school. The character then went outside to talk to jaqueline. there already the screen was black but the conversation continued. when it switched to the next person it got stuck for me.

Concept seems really nice! I was hoping to play it but the typing didn't work for me. whatever i did, I couldn't proceed. Also dialogue, would be great if a first space press shows the entire dialogue instantly and a second one skips it. I wanted to read it, but the tempo was to slow for my liking, but I still had to wait if I wanted to read it all.

Damn the feels where starting to hit... But then I got stuck on a black screen eventually. It is indeed a lot of text, I'm constantly pressing space to make it go faster because i read a bit quicker, but the story seems to be very well put together. Also really love the art style and the way everything is self-made!

hah! I had a real giggle with this one. fun dialogue, I like the idea with the mini games

Thanks! I'm glad you liked it

haha! Great ending ;) fun little game, very tricky for sure, but somewhat forgiving in making mistakes. bounds make you sometimes cornered and some sounds would have been great, but nice work!

yeah it adds to the learning curve, but also the satisfaction of getting it right!

Thanks for the elaborate feedback! Indeed, during play testing, that was always the tricky part. making clear how the controls work. it always took some explaining, which shouldn't have to be necessary.

The game also stops when you slowed down enough. but when resistance is maxed out, that can indeed be a little while. But A button could have done the trick indeed.

It used to start properly in full screen, maybe I need to change some itch settings, let me check

Thanks!

Really liked it! I love the backstory, love the hand-drawn style. it all matches really well. Mechanics are clear very quickly. Its definitely not easy, some parts are really tricky to get through, but it is very forgiving to just try stuff out, and fail.
