Nice graphics and story!
Really nice looking game with a cute story.
Only gripe is the slow text roll out and quite often the directional keys get jammed so the cat just keeps on running away :D
cute animations and beautiful graphics. I like the parallax effect when moving. I found myself stuck at level 1, and had to reload the game to start over (it was the level where I had to find 3 servings of food.)
Thanks I will try to modify
the game was very cute
Wow! I just came from another jam game, that was a classic 2d top down shooter, and going from that to this, was like going from watching a Marvel movie to watching a Miyazaki film. The tempo was slow and progression was lifelike instead of mechanic and rigid. I enjoyed every minute of it! Graphics, animation and audio were superb. The music instantly drew me into the world, and I quickly cared a lot about Candy and their adventures trough the world.
You have made a very unique game here, that I think you can be super proud of! Thank you for making this :-)
Well that was cute. The pixel art and animations are simple, yet charming. The music fits to the game's intended feel of situation. I see the theme was portrayed in uncommon way, which is nice. I enjoyed the experience, and the story. Thanks, and congrats!
Very nice game, I really liked it, so I will mention its good and bad parts.
The good parts:
1. The pixelated graphics are extraordinary, the landscape extraordinarily beautiful.
2. The tutorial included in the game was very helpful.
3. The audio quality is incredibly good.
4. Controls are carried out perfectly.
The bad parts:
1. Impossibility to adjust the writing speed of the text.
2. One more observation here, but I noticed a small error in the UI when the cat said something like "The master was the one..." (when collecting food, part of the text went off the screen and it wasn't visible anymore).
3. The inability to enlarge the screen (it was quite tiring for the eyes to look at a small piece of the screen).
But nice game ! I love it ! (i didn't had the time to finish it yet).
