I like this kind of games. I really enjoy it!

Well done :D

Nice game. Mini map or arrows showing the direction of the portals or closest portal might be good. Probably not enough time to implement during the jam but just a thought.

Developer

yeah, if I were to continue working On it after the jam then arrows pointing towards every portal would be the first thing that I would do

Good concept, and well scoped for a game jam. Movement and shooting are satisfying enough, due to some good choices such as high shot speed and how the camera shows more of the direction you're walking away from so you can shoot behind you as you're chased. Good job on the spritework too.

Developer

Thanks for the feedback. I am also glad how it all ended up. It was my first time making art for serious.

Hi, I noticed your submission is missing source. Your source is everything someone needs to download your game, open it in the game engine, and hit Play to play the game. Here is an example of the files to include: https://github.com/icepol/DeathIsOnlyTheBeginning

You don't need a GitHub, you just need to submit all your source files.

Developer (1 edit)

You mean that I should just have the raw unity file to download on my page?

If that's the case then I will add a unity file and a Windows build to game's page

cool concept and top down shooters are always fun!

Don't worry, you are not disqualified and you don't need github. Read this link:https://itch.io/jam/gamedevtv-jam-2022/topic/2138968/confused-about-source-uploa...

Thanks for advice!
