Very interesting! Abbot's Flatland was my first thought for the jam theme too though I ended up with something more conventional.

Cool implementation of the Flatland concept - I have also thought about making a simulation of Flatland before - turns out it is pretty difficult to comprehend haha. I had an issue where since the mouse isn't fixed to the centre of the screen I couldn't turn a very wide radius. But you don't really need to move a lot so it wasn't much of an issue.

I thought maybe the dialogue should start automatically as I found myself wandering around for a while before remembering I was supposed to press space!

Wow very intresting game. Nice explanation of geometry, space. I had a feeling like i was back in elementary school :) . Thank you :)

I like the concept behind it, it really offers an interesting take to a lot of different genres. The only two things that I would suggest are that you need to have something that you can only see in 1st person mode (Like a sign or a pattern) and something that you can only see in 3rd person mode (Like enemies behind a wall) to give the player a reason to switch back and forth. The other thing is that I could only turn about 10~15 degrees before my mouse hit the edge of my screen. I think this game has a lot of potential

Thank you for the suggestions, I think they would make for a pretty interesting game outside of the jam. Also you should be able to keep rotating the camera past 15° even with the mouse on the edge so the limit wasn’t intended. Thanks for playing!

I think it was due to the Mouse not being stuck to the centre of the screen. When the user attempted to move the mouse, the Physical Curser was moved as-well. When the Curser then reached the edge of the screen, it was unable to continue any further. ♥

Interesting dialogue, but I'm not sure what happens. XD

The idea of implementing the theme in this way I find quite successful.

Really immersive experience. The dialogue was great and the minimalistic line view worked well. I had to switch to top view several times though as it was hard to move around in that perspective.

I'm not entirely sure whats going on, but that is to be expected. It's defiantly a good take on the concept.

Also, I'm slightly biased in your favor.
